Here is the project I am sharing with you today!

My husband came home with this key ring that he purchased for Remembrance Day last year. The first thought that went through my mind when I saw it was “I want to make a card like that”. I was so excited when the new mini catalogue came out and I saw the poppies on the cover!

I used both the Painted Poppies and the Peaceful Moments bundles. I stamped the poppy with Versamark onto the background of the card and embossed the sentiment with Shimmer White embossing powder. If you are also inspired by this key ring, I would love to see what you create.

Thank you so much for coming by today! We have an amazing line up of Stampin’ Up!® demonstrators from around the world, and we know you are going to love all the amazing projects that you are going to see today. Don’t miss one blog link. Remember you are currently on my page – Tracy Held. See who is below me to know where to go next.

Paper Crafting Blog Hop – Lovely Lily Pad

Welcome to our Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe including the USA, United Kingdom and Australia are participating. We have a wide array of fun projects and design styles to share with you! This month we are very excited to share ideas using products from the new mini and Sale-a-bration catalogues. You may have arrived from Shirley Merkers blog. She always has a fabulous project to show to us!

I am using 3 of the products from the Sale-a-bration catalogue. The first is the Lovely Lily Pad stamp set. This is a reversible stamp set, so you use both sides of the stamp for your images. Coordinating with that is the Lily Pad Dies, and to complete the card the gorgeous Lily Impressions DSP.

My project is super easy, uses very few supplies, and with minimal effort, you have a gorgeous gift bag!

Choose the DSP to suit your occasion and your gift is all wrapped.

Gold Edged Christmas Card

Welcome to our monthly Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators Blog Hop, in which demonstrators from around the world share their latest projects. This month’s theme is ‘December Holidays’. You might have arrived here from Shirley’s blog. Wasn’t her project lovely?

The card that I have done today is quick and easy. I used the foil edged cards and envelopes for that gorgeous gold edge around the card, and dug into my DSP stash. If you want to make different variations, you can use the silver edged cards and any of the pretty Christmas DSP in the holiday catalogue.

Don’t forget to stamp the envelope and the inside of the card so that everything is matching.

These are the products that I used for this card

Fall Card

Welcome to our monthly Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators Blog Hop, in which demonstrators from around the world share their latest projects. This month’s theme is ‘Fall/Thanksgiving’. You might have arrived here from Shirley’s blog. Didn’t she have a lovely project?

I always have a hard time wrapping my head around the time differences. When the blog goes live, my fellow demonstrators are just starting their day on a Wednesday morning, and I am about to go to sleep on Wednesday night!
I could be mistaken, but I think that I am the only one on this hop who is in the southern hemisphere. While everyone else can look outside their windows for inspiration in the leaves changing colours on the trees, the tree in my garden is covered in beautiful while blossoms!

However, living in Melbourne in Australia, the cold weather seems to linger for a while, so I could still come up with a card that has an autumnal feel to it.

Below is a picture of the supplies that I used for this project.

Halloween

Welcome to our monthly Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators Blog Hop, in which demonstrators from around the world share their latest projects. This month’s theme is ‘Halloween’. You may have arrived here from Shirley’s blog. Didn’t she have a fun project?
I have to admit to being a bit of a Grinch when it come to Halloween. It is the last day of tax season (my day job is a tax consultant), and I usually get home late, or else I am so tired I hide in the house and pretend that I am not home.

My project is quick and easy and oh so cute. These little treat boxes are using the mini curvy keepsakes die. You can put as much or as little effort in as you choose.
The first one is just cut out of DSP. The one on the other end is cut out of Mango Melody card stock and stamped with Pumpkin Pie using the check stamp from the Tiny Keepsakes stamp set. The middle one is Mango Melody card stock and the pumpkin is stamped in Pumpkin Pie with the pumpkin stamp from the Harvest Hello stamp set and punched out with the apple builder punch.

These are the supplies that I used for this project.

Party Invitation

Welcome to our monthly Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators Blog Hop, in which demonstrators from around the world share their latest projects. This month’s theme is ‘Happy Birthday’. You may have arrived here from Shirley’s blog. Did you love her project?
I have taken a bit of poetic license with the theme this month. Instead of making a birthday card, I have started pre-birthday and am sharing an invitation that I have made to a Mad Hatter’s tea party.

This serviette is the inspiration for the invitation

This is my card. I used the retired Another Wonderful Year set for the words and heat embossed them with the new shimmer black embossing powder for some sparkle.
These invitations have gone out and the people that received them have all been really excited.

These are the supplies that I used for this project.
All the supplies used can be ordered through my online store here.

Washi Flower

Welcome to our monthly Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators Blog Hop, in which demonstrators from around the world share their latest projects. This month’s theme is ‘Ribbon and Embellishments.’ You may have arrived here from Shirley’s blog. She loves ribbons, so this is one of her favourite blog hop themes!
I don’t usually like working with washi tape, but have you seen how amazing the Pressed Petals Specialty washi tape is? You just peel off the petals and use as many as you like to make gorgeous flowers! The tape co-ordinates with the Pressed Petals Specialty DSP which is super pretty!

I used 6 petals and stuck them onto a 3/4″ circle. The gold faceted gems make the perfect centre for the flower.

Don’t forget to decorate the inside of the card. This is the second roll of washi tape that comes with the petal roll

These are the supplies that I used for this project.

DSP Showcase

Welcome to our monthly Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators Blog Hop, in which demonstrators from around the world share their latest projects. This month’s theme is ‘DSP Showcase’. Have you spent some time looking at the DSP in the new catalogue? They are all beautiful!! I have chosen to use the Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper for my card.

I used the Decorative Ribbon Border punch to do the edge. You need to be careful not to punch all the way to the edge, or you will have a lovely ribbon that is separated from the card.

Don’t forget to stamp the inside of your card. I always do an envelope to match too.

These are the products that I used in this card.
All the supplies used can be ordered through my online store here.
