Gears & Textures Stamp Camp – Save the date and register now

The members of the Acid Crafting Collective (Jan Clothier, Julia Quinn and Me) are back in Stamp Camp Creating mode.
The next Stamp Camp is on the 24th January 2026. For this one we aren’t using a suite – we pulled products together that we loved. We are using the Gears & Textures bundle, Nature Walk DSP, Textured Metallic Specialty paper , and Faux Bronze Penatgon embellishments. All these products will be available for purchase from the 6th of January. The Gears and Textures stamp set is an image only set (no sentiments). We will be using the Simply Said stamp set from the annual catlaogue which has a variety of very useful sentiments.

. We have a number of options for you to choose from to join the Stamp Camp:
1. The Ultimate Package: This comprises the Gears & Textures bundle (stamp set and coordinating dies), the class kit (all the card stock to complete the nine projects in the tutorial plus a quarter pack of the Natures Walk DSP, a 6″ x 12″ piece of each of the three colours of the Textured Metallic Specialty Paper, a pack of the Faux Bronze Pentagons and envelopes for all the cards), the PDF tutorial with full instructions and metric and imperial measurements, and access to the Facebook page where we will show you how to assemble the cards.) The cost for all of this (including postage) is $160.00.
You will also receive $10 off your next order.
2. Creativity Abounds Blog Hop – Modern Christmas

The blog hop this month is to show the bonus projects that we will be demonstrating in the Stamp Camp. There are 13 bonus projects as well as the 13 (make ‘n take) projects in the tutorial bundle! This is an elegant, monochromatic suite with an exciting pop of gold- I’m sure you will love all the card in the Stamp Camp.

Branching Out Stamp Camp – Save The Date and Register now

The members of the Acid Crafting Collective (Jan Clothier, Julia Quinn and Me) are back in Stamp Camp Creating mode.
The next Stamp Camp is on the 18th October. For this one we aren’t using a suite – we pulled products together that we loved. we are using the Branching Out bundle, Traditions Of Christmas DSP, Traditional Sparkling Sequins and Black & White & Gold Baker’s Twine. All these products will be available for purchase from the 3rd of September. The Branching Out stamp set doesn’t have Christmas sentiments, but the DSP that we are using can be for Christmas cards or not. As an added extra, we are using the Words For The Season Dies which will make the cards into Christmas cards.

Kintsugi Inspirations Stamp Camp

The Australian Crafting Collective has expanded across the the ditch! Jan Clothier has joined us. As we now span 2 continents, we have had a slight name change to the “Avid Crafting Collecting”. We liked the term avid as it describes us in two ways – the dictionary meaning is very eager and enthusiastic. The paper crafting meaning is to make cards that are anything but simple. Both of these definitions encompass myself, Julia and Jan.

Timing is a bit tight on this Stamp camp as we wanted to use a new suite that was only available for us to purchase from today. We have placed our orders for the products and will start designing as soon as our boxes arrive. The event will be on the 7th June.

The suite we are using is Kintsugi Inspirations. Kintsugi ia a Japanese Philosophy that embraces the beauty of imperfection. Broken pottery is repaired with gold lacquer in the cracks to emphasise rather than hide them. Kintsugi can inspire us to be resilient, grateful and loving in our lives and relationships.

Floral Delight is a beautiful bundle and I have only seen really pretty cards that have been made using it.

My card that I will demonstrate at the stamp camp is a floating hexagonal card. It stands up to be displayed but flattens to fit into an envelope to be mailed.

Floral Delight Stamp Camp

The new January – April mini catalogue will go live on the 7th January! The Creativity Abounds team have been very busy planning our next Stamp Camp. This is happening on the 22nd – 23rd February in an exclusive Facebook group.

Joining the Stamp Camp is easy. Click here to go to my online store to order your products (available from the 7th January). Please add the host code 6WGCBX7M at the checkout. This will place the order for the Delightful Wishes bundle, Floral Delight DSP, Floral & Gingham Vellum, Daffodil Delight Satin Ribbon and the Tiny Bee Trinkets. I am starting a new project with Diane Evans in Canada. Any orders over $75 will receive a card kit and tutorial to make four cards. This month’s kit uses the Sunflower Fields suite and has two standard and two fun fold cards. If you don’t have the Radiant Sunflowers bundle you can use any floral bundle and sentiments to complete your cards. If you have a demonstrator but would like to purchase the kit, it is available for $60 including postage. Send me an email on TraceOfCreativity@outlook.com and I will organise to send it to you. Creativity Abounds Blog Hop – Reindeer Days

Welcome to our September 2024 Creativity Abounds Blog Hop. We are a group of very keen Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world that are coming together to share our creative ideas with you. We are happy that you can join us and hope that we can inspire your creativity.

The Reindeer Days Stamp Camp is being held on the 19th – 20th October. For more details about the Stamp Camp and what you need to join click here.

The blog hop this month is to show the bonus projects that we will be demonstrating in the Stamp Camp. There are 13 bonus projects as well as the 13 (make ‘n take) projects in the tutorial bundle! Reindeer days is a super cute bundle and I was so happy with the final version of my card (if I say so myself)

This card will fold flat to fit into an envelope for postage.
