Fragrant Flowers Spot Light

I am happy to be taking part in Kylie’s Monthly International Blog Highlights again.
The theme for this hop is “Thank you”. Many people forget those simple words. I have seen people’s days brightened because someone said a simple thank you to them.
Show your appreciation to people in your lives who have inspired you, helped you or supported you by sending them a thank you card.

When I first got the Fragrant Flowers bundle I was a bit unsure about whether or not I like it. Once I started using it, I quickly came to the realisation that I LOVE it! When I realised that the dies coordinate with the Favored Flowers DSP, I loved it even more! If you want to see how I made this card, join me for my Facebook live at 10:00 on Sunday morning (15 January). You can find my Facebook page here.

New Catalogue Blog Hop – Two-Tone Flora

We are all super excited about the new mini catalogue! Hopefully you have had a copy in your hands for a few days and have your NEED list drawn up. Our blog hop today is using products from this catalogue. I have used Two-Tone Flora. I love this bundle. It doesn’t matter which flowers you stamp, your card comes out beautifully!

I stamped my detailed flowers in Flirty Flamingo for the big flowers and Fresh Freesia for the smaller ones and then stamped off for the fill in so that I got the same colour in a lighter shade, and then die cut the flowers and leaves. The inside of the card has a stamped flower.

If you would like to purchase the products to make this card, click here. This link will take you to the project at my online store that has a list to all the products to make this card so that you can add them to your shopping cart. If you already have some of them, you can just remove them from the cart. Please use the host code on the side of my blog if you order total is under $250.00.

Hop around and see what everyone else has to inspire us today.

Technique Tuesday Blog Hop – Fragrant Flowers

Thank you for joining us for our Technique Tuesday blog hop. The technique that we are sharing this month is embossing. Heat embossing is one of my favourite techniques. It doesn’t matter how many time I have seen it, I still enjoy seeing the embossing powder melt! For me, heat embossing is an easy way to add some WOW! to a card.

Most of the products in this card are from the new January – April 2023 mini catalogue. You will be able to order them from tomorrow. These are some items that you may want to add to your wish list.
The flowers are stamped (embossed) and die cut using the Fragrant Flowers bundle. The DSP is the Dry Brushed Metallic Specialty DSP from the Delicate Desert suite. The sentiment is from the Artistically Inked stamp set and is embossed onto vellum.

A strip if DSP on the insert gives the finishing touch.

Below is the complete link list. Be sure to visit all the blogs to see what everyone has done with embossing

Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe including the USA, United Kingdom and Australia are participating. We have a wide array of fun projects and design styles to share with you! I used the Nature’s Harvest bundle for the flower image and die cuts. The sentiment is stamped with the Go To Greetings stamp set and cut out using a die from the Holly Berry dies.

Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop – Cottage Rose

This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is Blog-Hop-Header.jpg

Thank you for joining us for this month’s Stampin’ Creative blog hop. The theme for this month is “Simple Stamping”. The definition of simple stamping is to use stamps, inks and paper only. Many of us (me included) can;’t get away from adding some embellishments or ribbon to our cards. I decided to limit myself to one stamp set and one colour of ink and paper. this is the end result:

I did need to restrain myself as I really wanted to add some embellishments! However, this stamp is so pretty that it really doesn’t need anything extra. As always, I stamped the inside of the card to match and it does have a matching envelope.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Below is the list of all the hop participants. Be sure to visit them all to see what they have created. We love hearing from you, so please leave us comments to let us know what you think about our projects.
