Share It Sunday – Hippest Hippos

Thank you for joining us for our Sunday blog hop (of course in Australia this goes live at 1:00am Monday morning, but it is a great start to the working week when we wake up!) There is no theme for this hop, it is for each of us to choose what project we want to share.

Sadly Sale-A-Bration will soon be ending. Today is my sister’s birthday and she LOVES the Hippest Hippos! I had a whole pile of cards so that everyone in the family could give one to her. Here all the hippo cards that I have been working on. The first two are the same but use different paper from the Sale-A-Bration Silver and Gold DSP.

The next 2 are also the same design, but use different colours and different little shapes from the Hippo dies:

The last one uses the 2022-2022 In Color Assortment DSP and the Basic Borders Dies

Paper Crafting Blog Hop – July-August Sale-A-Bration DSP

I used a number of the Sale-A-Bration items in this card. These are only available until the end of August, so if you want any of them be sure to get your order in and redeem them for free before they are gone for good! The circles are from the Rings Of Love DSP, the background is the Wonderful World DSP and the little flowers are from the Hippo dies. The sentiment is from the Happiness Abounds stamp set. I fussy cut some of the houses from the DSP and used them to decorate the insert

Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop – Hippest Hippo

Thank you for joining us for this month’s Stampin’ Creative blog hop. The theme for this is “Summer Sunshine”. Being in the southern hemisphere, we are freezing our little toes off, while our friends up north don’t know how to cope with the heat they are experiencing. It is so sad the we can’t send some cool air up to them, they can send some warm air to us and then everyone can be happy!!

Even though we don’t have much summer sunshine at the moment, I think my card definitely has a summery feel to it

Hippest Hippo or Hippest Cow?

During my Facebook live last Sunday, I used the cutest stamp set in this Sale-A-Bration offering – Hippest Hippos

It is difficult to get a good photo off the reflective paper. I used the silver foil sheet and the DSP on the side is another Sale-Bration option – Silver & Gold DSP,
With a bit of imagination, the hippos can be transformed into cows!

Paper Crafting Blog Hop – Wonderful World Shadow Stamping

Welcome to our Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring talented Independent Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe including the USA, United Kingdom and Australia are participating. We have a wide array of fun projects and design styles to share with you! Our theme this month is “Encouragement”. There are so many different sentiments you can use and so many different ways in which people need a little encouragement. A card to let someone know that you are thinking about them can change a whole day from miserable to wonderful!

I have used the flower from the Wonderful World stamp set (which is part of the Wonder World bundle and is a level 2 Sale-A-Bration item). The sentiment and background texture is from the Season Of Chic stamp set and the rough edges are easily created using the Deckled Rectangles dies.

Kindest Gnomes Pillar Card

Yesterday I participated in our bi-monthly virtual event – Global SU Share Fair. If you haven’t joined this event before, it is an exclusive customer event. We have an invitation only Facebook page and 16 presenters from all over the world. We invite our customers to the page, and we each present a card using a different stamp set. This gives tons of inspiration and showcases multiple stamp sets from the current catalogues. July Thank You Card – Wonderful World

I used the DSP from the Sale-A-Bration Wonderful World bundle. This is a level 2 reward. You will want to add it to your wish list as the stamp and the DSP are both beautiful! I punched the flower images from the DSP using the rectangular postage stamp punch. To get my flower inside the card, I applied my markers to the stamp.

Wonderful World Tear Away Card

I am happy to be taking part in Kylie’s Monthly International Blog Highlights again.
The theme for this hop is “Thank you”. Many people forget those simple words. I have seen people’s days brightened because someone said a simple thank you to them.

Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop – Wonderful World DSP

Thank you for joining us for this month’s Stampin’ Creative blog hop. The theme for this “Creative Colouring”. Unfortunately for me, colouring is one place where my creativity is lacking. I have taken a huge amount of poetic licence with this one, and used DSP to selectively colour parts of the lattice.

The DSP will be available tomorrow and is part of the Wonderful World level 2
Sale-A-Bration reward. The flowers on the card were fussy cut from the another piece of the DSP pack. The sentiment is from the Charming Sentiments bundle which is well on its way to becoming my favourite bundle!
