Welcome to our Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring talented Independent Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe including the USA, United Kingdom and Australia are participating. We have a wide array of fun projects and design styles to share with you! Our theme this month is “Masculine”. Many of us find it difficult to make masculine cards. Stampin’ Up!® has come to our rescue in the new catalogue – there are a number of masculine sets that will help you to make these cards. (You may find that there are so many masculine options that you don’t know which one to use first!

You may be starting your hop here, or you may have landed from Joy Nelson’s blog. Did you love her project?

My husband was really excited when he saw the Vintage Tools stamp set in the catalogue, so of course I had to order it for him! I stamped the tools onto Smokey Slate card stock, coloured the handles in using my Blends and then fussy cut them. The DSP is Sun Prints and the background texture was made with the Stripes and Splatters 3D embossing folder

Be sure to complete the hop to see all the wonderful ideas that we have to share with you. The next stop is Terri Stewart. I can’t wait to see what she has created this month.

Welcome to our Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe including the USA, United Kingdom and Australia are participating. We have a wide array of fun projects and design styles to share with you! Our theme this month is “Flowers”. There are so many floral stamp sets in our catalogues that it is difficult to choose just one. You may be starting your hop here, or you may have landed from Maureen Rauchfuss’ blog. Did you love her project?

I decided to use one of my favourite flowers which is on the last chance list. It is from the Tasteful Touches stamp set. The last time I checked this set is still available in Australia, and as a bonus it is 50% off. I added more flowers in the background with the Pretty Flowers embossing folder. You might be surprised to know that the DSP is New Horizons. It probably isn’t a piece that you have seen too often as we all tend to use the pieces that create a scene, but this is one of the reverse sides. The sentiment is from Flowering Tulips stamp set.

Paper Crafting Blog Hop – Gift Packaging

Welcome to our Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe including the USA, United Kingdom and Australia are participating. We have a wide array of fun projects and design styles to share with you! Our theme this month is “Gift Packaging”. Whether you are still wrapping your Christmas presents, or giving a birthday or just because present, I am sure that you will find inspiration here.

This project was inspired by Debbie Blake, a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator in Western Australia. All that you need to make this is a square piece of DSP (this one uses Beauty of the Earth DSP) and a library clip. To make it, all you need to do is fold your paper!

If you use Christmas paper, you can tie a ribbon through the library clip and it can double up as a Christmas tree ornament. These are photos showing the top and bottom of the bag

Here is a quick video which will explain how to fold the paper

Paper Crafting Blog Hop – Whimsy & Wonder

Welcome to our Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe including the USA, United Kingdom and Australia are participating. We have a wide array of fun projects and design styles to share with you! Our theme this month is “December Holidays”. As we have been in lockdown for so long, I feel like everyone is behind where we usually are on making Christmas cards. This one lets the DSP make the statement with a few fun elements added.

I love the Whimsy & Wonder suite. The Christmas trees are fun images and the DSP is amazing. I know lots of people who spent time during lockdown doing puzzles, so that skill comes into this card. I cut out four trees – two in Evening Evergreen and two in Soft Succulent. Place a strip of tear and tape down the back of the tree. Take the pieces from the Soft Succulent and place them into the Evening Evergreen tree and vice versa. I stuck one tree onto the inside of the card, and the last one onto the envelope.

Paper Crafting Blog Hop – Fall Cards

Welcome to our Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe including the USA, United Kingdom and Australia are participating. We have a wide array of fun projects and design styles to share with you! Our theme this month is “Fall”. Once again, I am in the reverse season, as we are supposedly in Spring (although someone forgot to tell the weather and it still feels like winter in Melbourne!)
You may be starting here, or you could have hopped over from Shirley Merker’s blog and seen her fantastic project.

I have taken a bit of poetic license with the theme today. One of my colleagues has just lost here brother, so I needed a sympathy card. I decided to use fall colours to make my card.

I used my blending brushes to make the background using Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze and Cherry Cobbler. I then stuck the Meadow Dies cut outs onto the background and cut it out with the Stitched So Sweetly dies. Although these are my least favourite cards to make, they do help to bring comfort to people who are grieving.

Paper Crafting Blog Hop -Happy Birthday!

Welcome to our Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe including the USA, United Kingdom and Australia are participating. We have a wide array of fun projects and design styles to share with you! Our theme this month is “Happy Birthday”. These are the most common type of cards that are sent out, and your day is always enhanced with a hand made birthday card.
You may have arrived from Shirley Merker’s blog. Did you love her birthday project?

This card is really simple but (in my opinion) really effective! I heat embossed the Hand Penned image and then cut it out with the coordinating Penned Flowers dies. The sentiment is from the Shaded Summer stamp set. That was also heat embossed and then fussy cut. The texture on the side is from the Meadow Moments embossing folder. Of course no card is complete without some bling, and that was provided by the Blue Adhesive Backed Gems (a bit of a boring name for such a wow embellishment!)

Paper Crafting Blog Hop – Punch Spotlight

Welcome to our Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe including the USA, United Kingdom and Australia are participating. We have a wide array of fun projects and design styles to share with you! Our theme this month is “Punch Spotlight”. For my card, I have chosen one of the older (but still good) punches – the medium daisy punch.
You may have arrived from Shirley Merker’s blog. Did you love her punched project?

I have created a pot of daisies that can sit on your mantle piece and will bloom all year round. It is the one pot, that no one will be able to kill by forgetting to give them water! The background was stamped with the big Daisy Garden stamp. The daisies were from the Daisy Lane, punched out with the Daisy punch and then layered on top.

If you would like to make this card, you can see the full explanation of how I did it in my video
