ESAD Sale-A-Bration Blog Hop- Beautifully Happy

Thanks for joining us for another ESAD blog hop! If you are wondering what ESAD means, here is an explanation.

The theme for this hop is Sale-A-Bration. I always say that Sale-A-Bration is the happiest time of the year. It is where you get free goodies – the type of things that money can’t buy. The only way to get them is to put in a qualifying order, and get them free! We are into the last few days of this promotion. After the 28th of February you will no longer be able to get these products. I have used the level 2 item- Beautifully Happy for my card.

The embellishment in the centre of my flower is a sneak peek of the Loose Frosted Dots embellishments that will be available from the beginning of March as an online exclusive product.

Thanks for stopping by today. Next up is Sharon Dalton. Let’s hop over and see what fabulous project she has created for us.

If you get lost along the way the way, here is the full hop listing:

Technique Tuesday

Thank you for joining us for our Technique Tuesday blog hop. The technique that we are sharing this month is masking. I have used the Two Tone Flora Dies to make my own mask. I also got two cards for one amount of effort.

Use the die cut as a mask and apply colour with your blending brushes.

Then use the piece that you are using as a mask to make a second card

If you want to see how I made these cards, join me foe my Facebook live at 10:00 on Sunday morning (12 February). You can find my Facebook page here.

Be sure to hop all the way around and see what masking techniques everyone else has to share with us

Let’s Craft Together – Rain Or Shine

Thank you for joining us for our Let’s Craft Together blog hop. We are a quartet of multi cultural Stampin’ Up! demonstrators in Australia who have developed a strong friendship though our love of stamping and our admiration of each other’s style of crafting. Today we are focusing on the super cute Rain or Shine suite.

I have used this layout (or variations of it) on a number of cards recently, and I LOVE it! I posted a card for a blog hop a couple of weeks ago and had a number of people messaging me and asking for the measurements. If you missed that card, you can have a look at it here. The measurements are fairly simple. The DSP strips are 5.0 cm (2″) wide. The left one is 10.0 cm (3″) long. The right one is 5.0 cm (2 1/4″) long. They don’t meet in the middle, but that is covered up by your focal point piece.

If you love this suite, and would like more ideas on using it, we are having a Stamp Camp on the 4th March. There are a number of options available to join us, and you can participate even if you aren’t in Australia. Click here for all the information about the stamp camp.

If you would like to purchase the products to make this card, click here. This link will take you to the project at my online store that has a list to all the products to make this card so that you can add them to your shopping cart. If you already have some of them, you can just remove them from the cart. Please use the host code on the side of my blog if you order total is under $250.00.

Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop – Thanks A Bunch

Welcome to the January 2023 Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop. You may be starting at my blog or landed here from another one.
Each month there is a new Inspirational image and colour challenge, you can use either part to create your project. Either
INK – use the colour challenge to create a project unrelated to the image -{There will generally be 6 colours for the colour challenge you may use some or all colours plus Stampin’ Up! basics range (black, white, vanilla) or
INSPIRATION – use the image subject as inspiration for your project any way you can tie them together is fine. This is the beautiful image for this month:

I knew what stamp set I wanted to use, (I am currently obsessed with carrots) but I wasn’t sure how all the colours would come together. In the end I landed up using all 6 colours!

This is a VW fold card, so it opens out like this:
