Welcome to our Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe including the USA, United Kingdom and Australia are participating. We have a wide array of fun projects and design styles to share with you! Our theme this month is “Thinking of you – Guys”. You may have arrived from Shirley Merker’s blog. She always has a fabulous project to show to us!

One of my fellow Aussie demonstrators – Chloe Evans showed us a card that she had made using this technique. I had to give it a try, and thought it would work perfectly for this hop.
The sentiment is a sneak peek from the Forever Fern stamp set which is in the new catalogue. I used my layering circles and Well Written dies. These are retiring, so if you want them, you need to order soon.

To give different options, I tried the card with the layering squares too. Which one do you prefer?

I will do a video on how I made this card, so come back tomorrow for those instructions.
For now, lets hop over to Sue’s blog and see what she is sharing with us today.
Thanks for hopping with us. If you get lost along the way here is the complete list of hop stops.

Wow, this card is stunning! I have not seen this technique before! Beautifully done!
Thank you
Both of your cards are stunning but if I had to make a choice, it would be the circular one. Can’t wait to see your video!
I think I agree with you. I also prefer the circles
Tracy, this card is super cool. I think I have figured out how you did it, but will definitely be looking for your video! TFS Sandy
It is really easy, but looks complicated. Video up soon…
SO great! I just saw these recently and thought what a great idea – thanks for sharing!
You are welcome, Thanks for stopping by
Tracy, I loved this when I saw Chloe’s card and I love what you have done with it. Although I prefer the circles, I do like the squares. Great idea.
I showed this card to Chloe, and she liked the colour combination too
The energy of the circles matches the sentiment as does the square shapes card. I prefer the circles card at the moment since we are in flux.
I love how everyone seems to read something different into card designs
This is A.W.E.S.O.M.E!
Thank you. I am so happy that you like them
Wonderful cards! I prefer the squares by just a smidgen . Looking forward to the video – I’ll be making cards with squares and circles! Thanks for sharing!
I haven’t tried other shapes. Layering ovals might work too
Hi Tracy, watched your video and loved your technique and followed along but your square card got me beat…how do you layer them and then cut them please? Had no problem with the circle one.
I tried but did not get them correct.
Thank you
