Card Swap Chain Blog Hop – Notes Of Collage

We have recently finished another round of the “Card Swap Chain”. It is a card version of what is called “Chinese Whispers” in Australia (we called it “Broken Telephone” in South Africa). Each of us designed a card (round 1) and sent it off to one of the other participants. That person CASE-d (Copy And Share Everything / Copy And Selectively Edit) the card and send their version on to the next person. The card made its way around until finally a version came home to the maker. We are now doing a series of blog hops for each of the card designs to share the fun and amazement at the evolution.

My card is at round 9 (second last card) of this chain. The first card in this chain was created Nancy Hoetker. I suggest starting at Nancy’s post and then hopping through so that you can see the card progression.

I had to play with (what was) new stuff when I was making the cards. The background leaves are the Botanical Glow Hot Foiling bundle. The other leaves and the DSP is from the products that we could purchase for Creativity Now. I’m sure they will be available for purchase in the next couple of months.

Sometimes the cards change so much that if you only saw the first and the last card, you wouldn’t think that they are on the same chain. This chain started out as a Z-fold and stayed that throughout the chain with just the shape on the front and the decoration changing.

This is the project that I contributed this month:

I am starting a new project with Diane Evans in Canada. Any orders over $75 will receive a card kit and tutorial to make four cards.
