Card Swap Chain Blog Hop – Gears & Textures

We have recently finished another round of the “Card Swap Chain”. It is a card version of what is called “Chinese Whispers” in Australia (we called it “Broken Telephone” in South Africa). Each of us designed a card (round 1) and sent it off to one of the other participants. That person CASE-d (Copy And Share Everything / Copy And Selectively Edit) the card and send their version on to the next person. The card made its way around until finally a version came home to the maker. We are now doing a series of blog hops for each of the card designs to share the fun and amazement at the evolution.

My card was close to the beginning of the chain – round 3.
The first card in this chain was created by Monique Fielder. I usually put the link to her post here, but I am going to be away when this goes live, so I am writing it well in advance and don’t have the link at the moment. Have a look at the link list below and you will find it. I suggest starting at Monique’s post and then hopping through so that you can see the card progression.

Sometimes the cards change so much that if you only saw the first and the last card, you wouldn’t think that they are on the same chain. Follow the chain through you will see how the changes happened.
