Chain Card Swap – Fluffiest Friends

At the beginning of October, I started a fun journey with 10 other Australian demonstrators. We called it a “Chain Card Swap”. It is a card version of what is called “Chinese Whispers” in Australia (we called it “Broken Telephone” in South Africa). Each of us designed a card (round 1) and sent it off to one of the other participants. That person CASE-d (Copy And Share Everything) the card and send their version on to the next person. The card made its way around until finally a version came home to the maker. We are going to have a blog hop for each of the card designs to share the fun and amazement at the evolution.

The first card that we are sharing was designed by Annette McMillan. My suggestion is that you start at her blog post and then click through the link list which is in round order. My CASE of her card was at round 6. If you have just come from Kayla’s blog and are wondering why it looks like I didn’t quite CASE her card – I didn’t! Kayla was dealing with some health issues at the time, so I asked Sharni for a photo of her card and used that to CASE my card. I did receive Kayla’s beautiful card, but it was later on in the swap.

The inside is decorated a bit differently to my usual style as I copied the card that I received.

The stamp set is Fluffiest Friends, the sentiment is from the (soon to be retired) Easter Bunny stamp set and the DSP was from Sale-A-Bration.

It was mind blowing to see the difference between the first card and the one that returned home. Hop though the blog posts to see how we all interpreted the card differently and how it evolved from start to finish.

  1. This is such a cute card Tracy.
It’s obvious how much you inspired my version. This was my favourite one to case in the whole event.
