Paper Crafting Blog Hop – Fall Cards

Welcome to our Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe including the USA, United Kingdom and Australia are participating. We have a wide array of fun projects and design styles to share with you! Our theme this month is “Fall”. Once again, I am in the reverse season, as we are supposedly in Spring (although someone forgot to tell the weather and it still feels like winter in Melbourne!)
You may be starting here, or you could have hopped over from Shirley Merker’s blog and seen her fantastic project.

I have taken a bit of poetic license with the theme today. One of my colleagues has just lost here brother, so I needed a sympathy card. I decided to use fall colours to make my card.

I used my blending brushes to make the background using Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze and Cherry Cobbler. I then stuck the Meadow Dies cut outs onto the background and cut it out with the Stitched So Sweetly dies. Although these are my least favourite cards to make, they do help to bring comfort to people who are grieving.

Be sure to complete the hop to see all the wonderful ideas that we have to share with you. The next stop is Annette. I can’t wait to see what she has created this month!

If you get lost along the way, here is the complete hop list:
