Gold Embossed Delicate Dahlias – Tech 4 Stampers Blog Hop

Welcome to our Tech 4 Stampers blog hop. I am part of an amazing group of demonstrators from around the world who are part of a Tech Academy run by the amazing Louise Sims. Her Website School and Tech Academy helps Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators navigate their way around the world of websites and social media. Now many of us have our websites up and running, a blog hop seemed the next logical step. The theme for today’s hop is

It has been such a treat having 2 rounds of Sale-A-Bration this year! One of my favourite offerings is the Delicate dahlias stamp set. It seems that whenever I sit down to make a card, it jumps into my hands and there is a new idea that I need to try!

I started with a piece of Simply Elegant DSP and using one of my blending brushes I coloured it with Rich Razzleberry ink. I heat embossed the dahlia and the leaves onto Rich Razzleberry card stock using gold embossing powder. I had to fussy cut the embossed images (not my favourite, but sometimes it is so worth the effort!). Don;t you love the sentiment? This is from the Sale-A-Bration host set – In Your Words. Remember that time is running out on this round of Sale-A-Bration. After the 30th September, these products will no longer be available. Be sure to get your order in so that you don’t miss out!

If you would like any information on how I made this card or how you can get your hands on the products, please feel free to give me a shout. Be sure to complete the hop and see what “fantabulistic” projects everyone else has created

  1. Hi Tracy, a fellow Antipodean. I was so excited to see you’re based in Melbourne, my place of birth. Maybe we should hook up when I visit Mum next time!

Your card is stunning. Love the blending and gold embossing technique – fantabulistic. tfs.
