Welcome to our Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe including the USA, United Kingdom and Australia are participating. We have a wide array of fun projects and design styles to share with you! Our theme this month is “Thinking of You” with an emphasis on the men in our lives.
You may have arrived from Shirley Merker’s blog. She always has something exciting to share with us!

A few months ago I made cards using layering circles and squares. If you missed that post, you can see it here. For today I decided to try the same thing, but using triangles. This card is really easy if you use the stitched triangles dies. The DSP in the background is from the Pattern Party pack which can be purchased using Stampin’ Rewards.
I tried using alternating colours on the triangles and with the colour running consecutively across the two. Which one do you prefer?
You can watch my video below to see how I made these cards

Love both of these cards! Going to have to try this out! Great job Tracy.
Oh Tracy, this card is fabulous! I love the colors! I never thought of using triangles that way!
Great project! I love both designs, but maybe the consecutive colors a smidge better. Hard choice! Thanks for sharing!
This is a really sharp looking card and a great layout! Since you asked which I prefer, I like the one where the colored strips are at an angle slightly better than the straight. Both look fantastic!
Great idea Tracy. I appreciate the video, for some reason my mind was making it much more complicated that it is. I’ll have to try these (but first I’ll order the stitched triangles.)
The triangles are awesome!!! They match up perfectly no matter which way you did it. TFS
I like both cards, but my eye is drawn to the right one for some reason. I love Pattern Party DSP! I’m going to have to try that technique…thanks for the video!
I like the alternating triangles version better.
