Festive Friday #FF0217 – Butterfly Flight

Thanks for joining us for this Festive Friday challenge. Have you ever played along with Festive Friday? There is a new challenge every second Friday. The challenge has an overall theme plus an inspiration list. You choose at least three of the inspiration elements and make a project. Your project can be a card, 3D item, or scrapbook layout and can reflect the main theme or just use the inspiration elements and have nothing to do with the theme. This is the inspiration list for this fortnight:

We always have to play with new stuff, this time I used the Copper Foil Rolls, Tile Garden dies and Thinking Of You stamp set which will be available on the 1st September.

I used orange, copper, strength sentiment (sort of) and banner from the inspo list.

Creativity Abounds Blog Hop – Butterfly Flight

Welcome to our Creativity Abounds Blog Hop. We are a group of very keen Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world that are coming together to share our creative ideas with you. We are happy that you can join us and hope that we can Inspire your creativity.

Our blog hop each month is a project along the theme of the tutorial, but is a different design from the tutorial project. This month’s bundle is a fun fold bundle. My card in the tutorial uses the Balloon Festoon bundle.

My project for this blog hop is the same fun fold, but using the Butterfly Flight bundle to decorate the card. It looks pretty when the card is closed

The wow happens when you open the card

I hot foiled the butterflies onto Vellum and Basic White with the Gold Stampin’ Hot Foil Rolls. I used the masks to colour the butterflies with Secret Sea and Peaceful Pine ink. I coloured on the reverse side of the vellum with the masks also flipped over.

Touches Of Ink Blog Hop – Butterfly Flight

Thanks for joining us for this month’s Touches of Ink Blog Hop. This is a fun hop – it focuses on suites and/or bundles. We don’t discuss what we are going to be using for the hop which means that everyone will use something different, or we might all decide that we want to use the same products!

For today the bundle I have chosen is one of the Hot Foil bundles – Butterfly Flight.

This is a different bundle because it doesn’t have a stamp set in it. Instead it has a set of masks for colouring the butterflies. I LOVE colouring with masks, so this is perfect for me. You can either hot foil the outline of the butterflies and the add colour, or use the masks on their own. I did both!. I used Silver Stampin’ Hot Foil Rolls on Vellum (which didn’t photograph very well) for the butterfly outlines which I die cut. I used the masks to colour the butterflies and the stuck the die cut vellum on top of them.

Let’s Craft Together – Butterfly Flight

Thank you for joining us for the Let’s Craft Together blog hop. We are a group of multi-cultural Stampin’ Up!® demonstrators in Australia who have developed a strong friendship though our love of stamping and our admiration of each other’s style of crafting. Each month one of us sets a challenge that we use for the blog hop. This month’s challenge is a fun fold birthday card and was set by Cheryl Hurst

I am part of a monthly collaboration called Fantastic Fun Folds. Each month we have a tutorial for one fancy fold card and 12 different samples using that tutorial. The card for August is a Triple Diamond Pop Up Card. I showed the assembly of this card in my Sunday Facebook live, and did that sample as a birthday card.
