Touches Of Ink Blog Hop – Butterfly Flight

Thanks for joining us for this month’s Touches of Ink Blog Hop. This is a fun hop – it focuses on suites and/or bundles. We don’t discuss what we are going to be using for the hop which means that everyone will use something different, or we might all decide that we want to use the same products!

For today the bundle I have chosen is one of the Hot Foil bundles – Butterfly Flight.

This is a different bundle because it doesn’t have a stamp set in it. Instead it has a set of masks for colouring the butterflies. I LOVE colouring with masks, so this is perfect for me. You can either hot foil the outline of the butterflies and the add colour, or use the masks on their own. I did both!. I used Silver Stampin’ Hot Foil Rolls on Vellum (which didn’t photograph very well) for the butterfly outlines which I die cut. I used the masks to colour the butterflies and the stuck the die cut vellum on top of them.

Festive Friday #FF0202 – Endless Love

Thanks for joining us for this Festive Friday challenge. Have you ever played along with Festive Friday? There is a new challenge every second Friday. The challenge has an overall theme plus an inspiration list. You choose at least three of the inspiration elements and make a project. I’ve used the same bundle (Endless Love) as last month, although my card is very different to the last one. My inspo items for this car are pink, gray. ink blending, die cuts, love sentiment and hearts.

The beginning of the year is when my mind goes to Valentine’s Day cards. As no one needs a whole pile of Valentine’s cards, I tend to try to think about changing the design into a wedding or engagement card. My go to bundle for any love occasion is Endless Love. The inspo items I used are: white, silver, rhinestones, fancy fold, heat embossing and wedding sentiment.

Stampin Dreams Blog Hop – Endless Love

The theme for this fortnight is National Champagne Day. My card doesn’t really highlight champagne, but it could be the drink of choice at a wedding or engagement party. The inspo items I used are cream,gold foil, heat embossing and congratulations sentiment.

Let’s Craft Together – Lifetime Of Love meets Peace On Earth

Thank you for joining us for the Let’s Craft Together blog hop. We are a group of multi-cultural Stampin’ Up!® demonstrators in Australia who have developed a strong friendship though our love of stamping and our admiration of each other’s style of crafting. Each month one of us sets a challenge that we use for the blog hop. This month’s challenge is “Old Meets New” and was set by Nancy Hoetker.

The aim of this challenge is to remind us not to forget about our old products. We are always so keen to craft with new stuff, we need to remember that sometimes the old products are really good and can be used with new items to create something beautiful.

My old products are the Lifetime Of Love stamp set, Exposed Brick 3D embossing folder and Nested Essentials dies. My new products are the Peace On Earth dies and I limited myself to only 3 dies from the set.

Doggone Friendly Wedding card

For today’s blog hop I want to share a very non-traditional wedding card with you. This is probably the last stamp set you would reach for when you start making a wedding card, but there is a method to my madness!

The couple are HUGE animal lovers and are besotted with their fur babies! I couldn’t resist using this stamp set for them. The dog that I have coloured in is one that resembles one of their dogs. I am hoping that this is going to be their favourite card.
