Share It Sunday Blog Hop – Playing In The Rain Valentine’s Day Card

Thank you for joining us for our Sunday blog hop (of course in Australia this goes live at 3:00am Monday morning, but it is a great start to the working week when we wake up!) There is no theme for this hop, it is for each of us to choose what project we want to share.

Some cards are super fun to make, and this is one of them. I couldn’t stop laughing while I was working on this.

Happy Valentine’s Day with Wildlife Wonder

My husband’s name is Wolfgang, and I’m sure you won’t be surprised to hear that he loves wolves. When I saw the Wildlife Wonder stamp set, it was a complete no brainer – I HAD to have it!! I don’t know how may other people use wolves to deliver a Valentine’s Day message, but it worked for me!

I used reverse stamping to get the wolves looking at each other. If you don’t know how to do this, you can see my video here.
The background is the New Horizons DSP which is awesome for backgrounds. The trees are stamped using Beauty Of Friendship stamp set and the sentiment is from the Sale-A-Bration Special moments stamp set. This stamp set is a sentiment only set and has a wide variety of sentiments that can be used for all kinds of different occasions. You can redeem this free with an order of $180

Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop – Happy Hedgehogs Valentine’s Card

Thank you for joining us for the first Stampin’ Creative blog hop for 2022. The theme for this month is “Love Is In The Air!” Now that we are almost a month into the new year, the next card making occasion is Valentine’s Day. i have used the super cute Happy Hedgehogs for my card.

Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop – Hello Lady Bug

Welcome to the January 2022 Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop. You may be starting at my blog or landed here from another one. This year we are changing the hop slightly. Each month there will be a new Inspirational image and colour challenge, you can use either part to create your project. Either
INK – use the colour challenge to create a project unrelated to the image -{There will generally be 5 colours for the colour challenge you may use some or all colours plus Stampin’ Up! basics range (black, white, vanilla) or
INSPIRATION – use the image subject as inspiration for your project any way you can tie them together is fine. This is the beautiful image for this month

I used the colours for my card

I only recently bought the Brick & Mortar 3D embossing folder and I can’t stop using it. I don’t know why I waited so long to get it. I inked the inside of the embossing folder with Evening Evergreen ink and then ran it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. Both sides of the paper come up beautifully when the embossing folder is inked.

I am sure that we are all turning our thoughts to Valentine’s Day. I hope that my card inspires you to play with the Hello Lady Bug stamp set. Valentine’s Blog Hop

The one thing that all card makers have in common is that we LOVE to make and send cards – any excuse will do! If there isn’t a reason to send a card, I will send one ‘Just Because” As we have now moved past the Christmas season, the next important occasion to send cards is Valentine’s Day.

The catalogues are a really good source of inspiration. When I saw the sample card of the Sentimental Swirls stamp set on page 56 of the January – June 2022 mini catalogue I knew that I wanted to CASE that. Add in the dies from the Bouquet Of Love hybrid embossing folder and I have a card full of love!
