Creativity Abounds Blog Hop – Butterfly Flight

Our blog hop each month is a project along the theme of the tutorial, but is a different design from the tutorial project. This month’s bundle is a fun fold bundle. My card in the tutorial uses the Balloon Festoon bundle.

My project for this blog hop is the same fun fold, but using the Butterfly Flight bundle to decorate the card. It looks pretty when the card is closed

The wow happens when you open the card

I hot foiled the butterflies onto Vellum and Basic White with the Gold Stampin’ Hot Foil Rolls. I used the masks to colour the butterflies with Secret Sea and Peaceful Pine ink. I coloured on the reverse side of the vellum with the masks also flipped over.

My project in the tutorial is a pretty card, and I have made a matching gift box.

This is a large box. For reference, I put in three of the new In Color ink pads (lying sideways) with a liquid glue on top of them. These fitted comfortably inside the box.

Creativity Abounds Blog Hop – Waterside Retreat

Welcome to our Creativity Abounds Blog Hop. We are a group of very keen Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world that are coming together to share our creative ideas with you. We are happy that you can join us and hope that we can inspire your creativity.

The Waterside Retreat Stamp Camp is being held on the 12-13th July. For more details about the Stamp Camp and what you need to do to join click here.

The blog hop this month is to show the bonus projects that we will be demonstrating in the Stamp Camp. There are 13 bonus projects as well as the 13 (make ‘n take) projects in the tutorial bundle! This is a really versatile masculine suite – I’m sure you will love all the card in the Stamp Camp.

My bonus card is a slatted pillar card that folds flat to fit into an envelope for posting.

Our blog hop each month is a project along the theme of the tutorial, but is a different design from the tutorial project. This is an alternative version of my Inner Step Card.

This is another one of those cards that looks okay from the front – nothing too special, just a pretty card, but the surprise is inside!

If you are wondering about the products that I have used, there are lots of sneak peeks in this project. The products are all from the new Online Exclusive release that will be available from the 3rd March. The bundle is called Delicate Whispers. The DSP is called Delicate Dreams. A big surprise was that there is a new colour in the paper – Hydrangea Hue. I’m sure I’ll find out more about this colour at OnStage next month.

Creativity Abounds Blog Hop – Cake Day Gift Box

As soon as I saw the Cake Day bundle in the new Online Exclusives, I immediately thought of a cake box. So much so that when I saw the picture of the dies, I thought one of them was a box. I was hugely disappointed when I got the dies and figured out that it wasn’t to make a box. After a lot of thinking, figuring and unusable pieces of cardstock, I came up with a design I liked. This is by box from different angles

It is a biggish box and you can fit a bit into it. I comfortably put three mini Toblerones into it.
