Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop – Party Time!!

This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is Blog-Hop-Header.jpg

Thank you for joining us for the November 2021 Stampin’ Creative blog hop. The theme for this month is “Party Time!” As we approach the end of the year, I think that everybody is ready to party- either to celebrate the end of 2021 or to welcome in 2022. The last 2 years have been hard, and we are all hoping that 2022 is going to be getting back to a new normal.

I have made a Z-fold card using the Nothing’s Better Than stamp set and Love you More Than dies with the Rainbow Glimmer Paper. The sentiment is cut from the (soon to be retired) Black Glitter Paper and Word Wishes dies

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Below is the list of all the hop participants. Be sure to visit them all to see what Party Times they have to share. We love hearing from you, so please leave us comments to let us know what you think about our projects. From all of us on the Stampin’ Creative team, we wish you a safe and happy New Years’ Eve and everything of the best for 2022.

Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop – Christmas Cheer

Thank you for joining us for the November 2021 Stampin’ Creative blog hop. The theme for this month is “Christmas Cheer”. I have decided to use the Ever Eden DSP for my card. Remember, this suite is a pre-order for the January – June 2022 mini catalogue, and the DSP is only available as part of the pre-order. If you want some, you need to place your order ASAP as it is only available while stocks last.

Last month after World Card Making Day, we had world card sending week. I received this card from Leona Bourgault in the USA, and I loved everything about the card, so I had to try and CASE it.

For my card, I inked up my Evergreen Forest 3D embossing folder with Soft Succulent ink and then ran it through my Cut & Emboss machine. Using a standard card base, I cut 5cm (2″) off one edge and then cut that strip into my 3 squares.

Measurements:
Base (Soft Succulent) – 14.9cm x 16.0cm scored at 10.5cm (5 1/2″ x 2 1/4″ scored at 4 1/4″)
Cut the strip that you cut off into 3 equal squares 4.95cm (1 7/8″)
Insert (Basic White) – 14.4cm x 10.0cm (5 1/4″ x 4″)
Basic White (tree embossed) – 5.0cm x 14.4cm (2″ x 5 1/4″)
DSP – 5.0cm x 14.4cm (2″ x 5 1/4″)
– 3 pieces 4.5cm x 4.5cm (1 3/8″ x 1 3/8″)

Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop – Blessings Of Home

Thank you for joining us for the October 2021 Stampin’ Creative blog hop. The theme for this month is “Nature’s Beauty”. This theme is wide open, but I have decided to give you a sneak peek of a suite, Heart & Home which will be in the new mini catalogue. This stamp set has a large floral image and a smaller bouquet.

I stamped the flowers onto vellum with Versamark ink and heat embossed them with gold embossing powder. They were coloured in with my Stampin’ Blends and cut out with the coordinating dies. Below is the card with the large image.

The DSP is Heart and Hone which is part of the suit. The one side has coloured floral and leafy images, and the reverse side has different wood grain textures in grey and white. If you love these cards, add them to the top of your wish list to order in January when the new catalogue goes live!

Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop – Saying Thanks with Sunflowers

Thank you for joining us for the September 2021 Stampin’ Creative blog hop. The theme for this month is “Sending Thanks”.

Last summer my neighbour had the most beautiful sunflowers growing in his front garden. Every time I walked past his house I stopped to admire them. He was outside one day when I walked past, and I told him how much happiness his sunflowers had brought to me. he said that he had some seeds from them, and he would let me have some, Last week I found an envelope full of sunflower seeds in my letter box! I have made a card that I gave to him (if you want to see it, hop over to my Facebook page, I did that as a live), but I can’t get sunflowers off my mind, so I decided to make another one!

Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop – Friendly Sheep

Thank you for joining us for the August 2021 Stampin’ Creative blog hop. The theme for this month is “Friendship”. We all love this theme, and there is so much that you can do with it. I am still obsessed with the Counting Sheep stamp set and Sheep dies (only available during Sale-A-Bration), so my card is a bit sheepish!

When I started thinking about my card for this post, I know that I wanted to have the sheep looking at each other. I was struggling with what to do with (how to decorate) the heart, and then my mum said that she needed an 80th birthday card. Light bulb moment!! You can use this card for any birthday, just change the numbers!

If you want to know how to get the sheep looking at each other (mirror image) stop by tomorrow and I will post a video showing how I did this.

Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop – Summer Dreams with Counting Sheep

Thank you for joining us for the August 2021 Stampin’ Creative blog hop. The theme for this month is Summer Dreams. This is so appropriate for me – we are shivering through a really cold winter, and I am dreaming of summer!

I am giving you a sneak peek of some of the upcoming Sale-A-Bration options. The stamp set is called Counting Sheep and there are coordinating Sheep dies. Each of them is a level 1 reward. Browse through your new mini catalogue, draw up your wish list and get ready to collect your Sale-A-Bration rewards!! I had such fun making this card – the happy sheep smelling the flowers gave me a summery feeling! I used my blending brushes for the background, and coloured the sheep and flowers with Smokey Slate and Calypso Coral blends. As always, remember to decorate the inside of your card.
