Creativity Abounds Blog Hop – Butterfly Flight

Welcome to our Creativity Abounds Blog Hop. We are a group of very keen Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world that are coming together to share our creative ideas with you. We are happy that you can join us and hope that we can Inspire your creativity.

Our blog hop each month is a project along the theme of the tutorial, but is a different design from the tutorial project. This month’s bundle is a fun fold bundle. My card in the tutorial uses the Balloon Festoon bundle.

My project for this blog hop is the same fun fold, but using the Butterfly Flight bundle to decorate the card. It looks pretty when the card is closed

The wow happens when you open the card

I hot foiled the butterflies onto Vellum and Basic White with the Gold Stampin’ Hot Foil Rolls. I used the masks to colour the butterflies with Secret Sea and Peaceful Pine ink. I coloured on the reverse side of the vellum with the masks also flipped over.

Share It Sunday – Framed Violets

Thank you for joining us for our Share It Sunday blog hop (of course in Australia this goes live at 1:00am Monday morning, but it is a great start to the working week when we wake up!) There is no theme for this hop, it is for each of us to choose what project we want to share.

I have been doing assembly videos of the projects in the Avid Crafting Collective Framed Violets Tutorial Bundle. I am going to share the videos of the three cards that I designed for the bundle.

My first card is one that uses lots of little bits with vellum leaves.

Touches Of Ink Blog Hop – Framed Violets

Creativity Abounds Blog Hop – Waterside Retreat

The blog hop this month is to show the bonus projects that we will be demonstrating in the Stamp Camp. There are 13 bonus projects as well as the 13 (make ‘n take) projects in the tutorial bundle! This is a really versatile masculine suite – I’m sure you will love all the card in the Stamp Camp.

Framed Violets Tutorial Bundle

We have had some changes to the Avid Crafting Collective (ACC). Jan Clothier has decided to take a break, and Julia and I have welcomed Chantell Randall from Western Australia as a new designer. Chantell is originally from New Zealand, so we have managed to keep our variety of accents!

We have also decided to change the format – instead of a Stamp Camp which keeps you tied to your computer for hours on a specific day, we are doing a tutorial bundle. There will still be 9 projects – 6 standard cards and 3 fancy folds with video presentations. The difference is that we will each do assembly presentations of all 9 projects on our own Facebook pages starting on the 13th July. No measurements will be given in these presentations – you will need the tutorial for the measurements. Once we have completed the presentations, video links will be added to the written tutorial.

We have a number of options for you to choose from for this tutorial:

1. The Ultimate Package: This comprises the Framed Violets bundle (stamp set and coordinating dies), the tutorial kit (all the card stock to complete the nine projects in the tutorial plus five 6 x 12″ pieces of the Violet Dreams DSP, a pack of the Adhesive-Backed Blooms, 1.5 metres of Fresh Freesia Satin ribbon and envelopes for all the cards) and the PDF tutorial with full instructions and both metric and imperial measurements and assembly videos for the cards.) The cost for all of this (including postage) is $160.00. You will also receive $10 off your next order.

2. The Kit Package: This option gives you the tutorial kit (all the card stock to complete the nine projects in the tutorial plus five 6 x 12″ pieces of the Violet Dreams DSP, a pack of the Adhesive-Backed Blooms, 1.5 metres of Fresh Freesia Satin ribbon and envelopes for all the cards) and the PDF tutorial with full instructions and both metric and imperial measurements and assembly videos for the cards.) 3. The Virtual Package: If you live overseas or don’t want to purchase the products, you are also welcome to join us. This option gives you the PDF tutorial with full instructions and both metric and imperial measurements and assembly videos for the cards. The cost for this option is $35.00.

Fantastic Fun Fold Tutorial Subscription

I have had fantastic feedback from the people who purchased last year’s subscription. One lady even sent me an email after the last tutorial for the 2025-2026 year was published asking where she could find the link to sign up for the new catalogue year!

How this works is that each month these is a new fun fold tutorial. This will give you all the measurements (metric and imperial) and detailed instructions of how to make your card.
There will also be 12 different card samples of that fold to give you inspiration for different ideas of how to use the design. Each sample also has a list of all the supplies used to make it. You can copy CASE the card as it is, change the colours or take aspects from each sample to make your own design.

The photo below is of all the folds that we did for the 2025 – 2026 catalogue year. These are my samples of the different tutorials.

The usual cost of an annual subscription is $35 – this works out to $2.92 per month for comprehensive instructions and 12 different samples.

None of the folds that were done previously are going to be repeated. If you want the prior year’s tutorials, they are still available. If you haven’t had a subscription previously, you can subscribe for the new year, and add on the 2025 – 2026 tutorials for $65.00. Funky Folds Blog Hop – Gears & Textures

I am excited to be participating in this month’s funky folds blog hop. I LOVE fun folds and this is a group of like-minded paper crafters with same same passion for making cards with
funky folds.
Funky actually means “modern and stylish in an unconventional or striking way” This hop features cards that are not the usual rectangle/square portrait or landscape style.
All Blog Hops have an ‘anything goes’ theme using any type of ‘funky’ card fold.

Two weeks ago I participated in the Avid Crafting Collective Stamp Camp. This is a
bi-monthly Stamp Camp that I do with Julia Quinn and Jan Clothier. This is the fun fold card that I made for the Stamp Camp.

I made the same card with a different piece of DSP for a live presentation.

Delicate Whispers Stamp Camp – Save The Date & Registration

The members of the Avid Crafting Collective (Jan Clothier, Julia Quinn and I) are back in Stamp Camp Creating mode.
The next Stamp Camp is on the 11th April 2026. For this one, we aren’t using a full suite. We are using the Delicate Whispers bundle, Delicate Dreams DSP, Iridescent Foil Gems, and Linen Thread. All these products will be available for purchase from the 3rd of March.

We have a number of options for you to choose from to join the Stamp Camp:

1. The cost for all of this (including postage) is $170.00. You will also receive $10 off your next order.

Fancy Folds Blog Hop – Trusty Tools

Thank you for joining us for our fun/fancy folds blog hop. We all love fancy folds, so the purpose of this hop is to share different folds. The card I am sharing this month is an early look at the card that is featured in the September Fantastic Fun Folds tutorial.

Creativity Abounds Blog Hop – Floral Delight

Floral Delight is a beautiful bundle and I have only seen really pretty cards that have been made using it.

My card that I will demonstrate at the stamp camp is a floating hexagonal card. It stands up to be displayed but flattens to fit into an envelope to be mailed.
