Creativity Abounds Blog Hop – Butterfly Flight

Welcome to our Creativity Abounds Blog Hop. We are a group of very keen Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world that are coming together to share our creative ideas with you. We are happy that you can join us and hope that we can Inspire your creativity.

Our blog hop each month is a project along the theme of the tutorial, but is a different design from the tutorial project. This month’s bundle is a fun fold bundle. My card in the tutorial uses the Balloon Festoon bundle.

My project for this blog hop is the same fun fold, but using the Butterfly Flight bundle to decorate the card. It looks pretty when the card is closed

The wow happens when you open the card

I hot foiled the butterflies onto Vellum and Basic White with the Gold Stampin’ Hot Foil Rolls. I used the masks to colour the butterflies with Secret Sea and Peaceful Pine ink. I coloured on the reverse side of the vellum with the masks also flipped over.

Funky Folds Blog Hop – Pretty Poinsettia

I am excited to be participating in this month’s funky folds blog hop. I LOVE fun folds and this is a group of like-minded paper crafters with same same passion for making cards with
funky folds.
Funky actually means “modern and stylish in an unconventional or striking way” This hop features cards that are not the usual rectangle/square portrait or landscape style.
All Blog Hops have an ‘anything goes’ theme using any type of ‘funky’ card fold.

I am part of a monthly collaboration called Fantastic Fun Folds. Each month we have a tutorial for one fancy fold card and 12 different samples using that tutorial. The tutorial for August was a”Triple Diamond Card”.

This is a “me” type of card – one that looks complicated but is a quite easy to make. The important thing is to measure (twice) and then score and cut accurately.
The card looks good from the back as well, when the writing panels are displayed.

Let’s Craft Together – Butterfly Flight

Share It Sunday – Framed Violets

Thank you for joining us for our Share It Sunday blog hop (of course in Australia this goes live at 1:00am Monday morning, but it is a great start to the working week when we wake up!) There is no theme for this hop, it is for each of us to choose what project we want to share.

I have been doing assembly videos of the projects in the Avid Crafting Collective Framed Violets Tutorial Bundle. I am going to share the videos of the three cards that I designed for the bundle.

My first card is one that uses lots of little bits with vellum leaves.

This is a square card, but will fit into a standard envelope with some room at the ends.
I made this card during my Facebook live on Sunday. It was a bit chaotic because I couldn’t get the card to close. I think it was stage fright, because it closed easily off camera! Don’t let that scare you, it is easy and fun to make. You can watch the Facebook replay below.

Share It Sunday – Framed Violets

Thank you for joining us for our Share It Sunday blog hop (of course in Australia this goes live at 1:00am Monday morning, but it is a great start to the working week when we wake up!) There is no theme for this hop, it is for each of us to choose what project we want to share.

I have been playing with a new suite from the Online Exclusive release that goes live on the 1st July – Framed Violets. This is an absolutely gorgeous suite with the prettiest flowers. I combined beautiful flowers with a fancy fold and this is the result.

I participate in a monthly fancy fold collaboration and this is the fold for June. We give instructions for one fancy fold and twelve samples of that card using different products. Creativity Abounds Blog Hop – Waterside Retreat

Welcome to our Creativity Abounds Blog Hop. We are a group of very keen Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world that are coming together to share our creative ideas with you. We are happy that you can join us and hope that we can inspire your creativity.

The Waterside Retreat Stamp Camp is being held on the 12-13th July. For more details about the Stamp Camp and what you need to do to join click here.

The blog hop this month is to show the bonus projects that we will be demonstrating in the Stamp Camp. There are 13 bonus projects as well as the 13 (make ‘n take) projects in the tutorial bundle! This is a really versatile masculine suite – I’m sure you will love all the card in the Stamp Camp.

My bonus card is a slatted pillar card that folds flat to fit into an envelope for posting.

This was a new card for me – I haven’t made one like this before. It is very unique because you pull panels of the card apart to reveal the hidden message. Share It Sunday – Waterside Retreat

I was recently at a weekend craft retreat. One of the things that we always do at the retreat is a shoe box swap. We each design a card, put all the products to make the card into a box and then everyone grabs a box and makes the project. My swap was this handbag card.

While this card might look complicated, it is really easy to make. I have done a video to show you how to make it.
