World card making Day Online Retreat

I’d like to invite you to join me and some worldwide demonstrator friends to celebrate World Card Making Day on 1-2 October 2022. We are planning a fabulous zoom event with 18 live crafting demonstrations by 9 creative Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators.

There will be 3 zoom calls with 6 live card making demonstrations per zoom call. You will create a total of 18 cards beginning on Saturday morning and continuing on Sunday afternoon in Australia. We hope you can create with us.

WCMday2022AUS1_n

A pdf idea file with measurements and supply lists will be provided prior to the event so you can gather your supplies and have cardstock cut and ready to craft along with us. If you miss the Zoom calls, Youtube assembly links will be provided shortly after the event is over. You will have that pdf idea file to help you as well since project photos will be included.

Everyone is welcome to join us, stamping customers, your friends, fellow demonstrators, team members, and newbies too! I will send you an invoice once you have registered. Please click the picture to complete the google form. You can email me at TraceOfCreativity@outlook.com if you would like more information

Registration for World Card Making Day includes 3 zoom calls during 1 & 2 October (in Australia) for the demonstrated projects and a pillow gift if registration is received before 22 September.

Cost is $20

wcmd2022AusFlyer

After I receive your registration, I will send your pillow gift (remember, registration must be received by 22 September to receive the pillow gift!). Then be watching for the pdf file in your email in-box so you can order supplies if needed and prep your card stock. If you regularly participate in the Global SU Share fair events, you will know some of the presenters that are joining me and the quality of their work.

P.S. Zoom session times are Saturday, 1 October, 10-11:30am and Sunday 2 October 12-1:30pm & 3-4.30pm in Australian Eastern States. If you can’t make the Zoom calls, YouTube assembly links will be provided after the event is over. So you can still craft along with us if the Zoom call times don’t work for you. You will have access to all the videos, so you can go back and watch them again if you want to make multiples of the cards.

I have seen the projects that are being presented, and I am really excited about them. i hope that you will join us.

Miura Fold Kits In The Mail

I have been working with 11 other demonstrators, and we have started a new collaboration called fun Fold fanatics. Each month we are creating a new fun fold tutorial. The tutorial has instructions to make the card, and examples of 12 different versions of that card.

Kits which can be purchased (in Australia) for $12 (including postage). Each kit will contain the card stock and embellishments to make 2 cards. You will also get the PDF of the tutorial and a link to an unlisted video demonstrating how to make up your kit.

The card this month use the Hues Of Happiness suite.

The kit contains the card stock and DSP for 2 cards. There are 6 flowers and 6 leaves (assorted colours) and a strip of the Glossy Dots Assortment. As the DSP on this pack has assorted colours in one sheet, the coulours in the kit will random depending on which piece of paper you get. The base colours are Night Of Navy, Melon Mambo, Gorgeous Grape, Daffodil Delight and Fresh freesia. I will do my best to accommodate you if you want specific colours in your kit, but I cannot guarantee that you will get those colours.
I used the Happiness Abounds stamp set for the sentiments (you can use any sentiments that you have on hand). You will need ink pads, Stampin’ Dimensionals and adhesive to complete the cards. Click here to order these products from my online store. You can add additional items to the cart or remove ones that you already have on hand. Please remember to use the host code on the side when you place your order. The products can be ordered directly from Stampin’ Up!, but the order for the kit needs to be placed directly with me. Please send me an email at TraceOfCreativity@outlook.com to place your order.

If you live don’t love in Australia and you would like to purchase a kit, feel free to shoot me an email and I will put you onto one of the demonstrators in your market. Please be aware that the cards in the kit won’t be the same, but the tutorial will.

August Suite Of The Month

If you don’t know what Suite of the month is, it is where we highlight One product suite ed each month. I hope these suites are on your shopping list because you will earn a free make and take kit when you purchase the designated suites. Then meet me in Zoom to assemble the kits while I demonstrate where all the pieces go. If you miss the Zoom social, a Youtube link will be sent to you so you can assemble the kits at your leisure.

In addition, I am collaborating with other demonstrators across the globe that will be sharing 2 projects each using the same product suite. We are anticipating that there will be at least 5 demonstrators participating each month. This means that you will get a minimum of 10 different ideas to use with the rest of your product suite by watching these videos. Although you will only get the kit for my make ‘n takes, you will be able to make all the other projects because you have purchased the suite! Much as we would like to buy everything in the catalogue, we also have to choose which are our favourite favourites, so the demonstrators can vary from month to month.

The next suite that we have chosen to show case in the Suite Of The Month series, is Beauty Of The Earth. To purchase your suite from my online store, click here

https://www.stampinup.com.au/products/beauty-of-the-earth-suite-collection-(english)?hostcode=ZZ99XY2M

Please order early in the month if you want to participate in the Zoom socials since the socials will be held on the third Wednesday of the month, 11:30-12:30am and 6:30-7:30pm, AEST.

I will need some time to prepare your kit and post it to you. When I see an order come through with the designated Suite of the Month, I’ll ship your make and take kit to you automatically for that month.

You are welcome to order any and all of the suites on the same order as well so you can earn and spend all the host rewards. If your order stays under $250 (excluding shipping), please use the host code on the side when ordering.

Here are the Suites being featured each month. Links to my online store to order these products are embedded. The page numbers refer to pages in the 2021-2022 annual catalogue unless stated otherwise.

August – Beauty Of The Earth, page 10-11. Different tree images with vibrant earthy colours.
September – Tidings of Christmas, pg 88-89. Cute stockings and friendly greetings to start making your Christmas cards
October – Gingerbread and Peppermint, pg 8-9 of the August – December mini catalogue. Fun images and a beautiful pillow box for your small gifts to be hidden inside.

These previous suites are still available with an order (although you won’t get the kit and Zoom social). Some of these these suites are all from the January – June mini catalogue and have retired.. The bundles have carried over to the annual catalogue, but the DSP is no longer available, so you will have to choose a substitute DSP

Hand-Penned, page 104-105. A whimsical collection in soft, pretty colours.
Simply Elegant, page 68-69. As the name suggests an elegant suite with (in my opinion) the best DSP in the catalogue!
Dandy Garden Suite, pages 24-27, a dragonfly punch in 2 sizes!
Hydrangea Hill Suite, pages 18-19, 2 shades of purple pearls and purple acetate sheets! (The pearls and acetate sheets did carry over)
Ice Cream Corner Suite, pages 48-49, a bright and warm color palette and ice cream cone punch!

I am looking forward to catching up with you and sharing my projects later this month.

Unfortunately, the Butterfly Bijou DSP has sold out, but you can still make beautiful cards with the stamp and dies. If you don’t know what all the hype is about, you can watch my unboxing video here.

For this card, I have used tone-on-tone stamping butterflies, but I put the Basic White layer over the Petal Pink card base when I stamped. You can download a copy of the tutorial to make this card using the link below.

You are currently on Tracy Held’s blog – see the link below mine for the next blog in the hop.
