Funky Folds Blog Hop _ Holly Jolly Branches Expanding Bridge Fold Card

am excited to be participating in this month’s funky folds blog hop. I LOVE fun folds and this is a group of like-minded paper crafters with same same passion for making cards with
funky folds.
Funky actually means “modern and stylish in an unconventional or striking way” This hop features cards that are not the usual rectangle/square portrait or landscape style.

Share It Sunday – Holly Jolly Branches Cascading Panels Card

I have been dealing with a broken knee cap for the past seven weeks, so my creativity has been at a very low level. I have been managing to keep up with my commitments, but not doing much else.

Share It Sunday – Framed Violets

I have been doing assembly videos of the projects in the Avid Crafting Collective Framed Violets Tutorial Bundle. I am going to share the videos of the three cards that I designed for the bundle.

My first card is one that uses lots of little bits with vellum leaves.

Funky Folds Blog Hop – Balloon Festoon

I am part of a monthly collaboration called Fantastic Fun Folds. Each month we have a tutorial for one fancy fold card and 12 different samples using that tutorial. The tutorial for May was a”Pinwheel Pocket Pouch Card”.

This is a square card, but will fit into a standard envelope with some room at the ends.
I made this card during my Facebook live on Sunday. It was a bit chaotic because I couldn’t get the card to close. I think it was stage fright, because it closed easily off camera! Don’t let that scare you, it is easy and fun to make. You can watch the Facebook replay below.

Share It Sunday – Framed Violets

I have been playing with a new suite from the Online Exclusive release that goes live on the 1st July – Framed Violets. This is an absolutely gorgeous suite with the prettiest flowers. I combined beautiful flowers with a fancy fold and this is the result.

I participate in a monthly fancy fold collaboration and this is the fold for June. We give instructions for one fancy fold and twelve samples of that card using different products. Touches Of Ink Blog Hop – Fern & Flora

Thanks for joining us for this month’s Touches of Ink Blog Hop. This is a fun hop – it focuses on suites and/or bundles. We don’t discuss what we are going to be using for the hop which means that everyone will use something different, or we might all decide that we want to use the same products!

My card is a really easy, (but in my opinion) really effective card that uses the Fern & Flora bundle and the Fern & Flora 3D Embossing Folder which is one of the elements of the suite.

The stamp set has a butterfly and a moth in it, and for reasons that I am not sure about, I decided that the moth is more masculine and was the one that wanted to go on the masculine card.

I made this style of card during my Facebook live on Sunday. The one I made uses the Floral Spray 3D Embossing Folder and the butterfly from the Fern & Flora bundle. You can watch the replay below. If you watch to the end, I do show the Peaceful Pine card and talk about the products that I used.

Product Of The Month Blog Hop – Berry Botanical Vellum with Balloon Festoon

Welcome to our Product Of The Month (POM) blog hop. If you haven’t heard of POM yet, this is what it is all about. Stampin’ Up! has started a new monthly promotion. Every month there will be a new product. To get your hands on the product, all you need to do is place an order. If your order is $125 (in Australia – the $ amount will differ depending on your market) then you can add the Product Of The Month to your order for only $9. We won’t know in advance what the POM will be. It could be a stamp set, embellishments, ribbon, dies or any other paper crafting product. No matter what it is, paying $9 is a bargain!

This month’s POM is a pack of gorgeous vellum Called Berry Botanical Vellum. I’m a bit obsessed with the Balloon Festoon bundle at the moment. When I saw vellum, I knew that it had to be used for balloons.

Still on the balloon theme, I LOVE the new Pretty Party kit. It is exactly what it says – a very pretty kit with balloon cards. When I looked at one of the cards in the kit, I had to make it into a shaker card. This is my CASE-d version of that card with the vellum balloons.

Funky Folds Blog Hop – Bloom Boutique

I am excited to be participating in this month’s funky folds blog hop. I LOVE fun folds and this is a group of like-minded paper crafters with same same passion for making cards with
funky folds.
Funky actually means “modern and stylish in an unconventional or striking way” This hop features cards that are not the usual rectangle/square portrait or landscape style.
All Blog Hops have an ‘anything goes’ theme using any type of ‘funky’ card fold.

I was recently at a weekend craft retreat. One of the things that we always do at the retreat is a shoe box swap. We each design a card, put all the products to make the card into a box and then everyone grabs a box and makes the project. My swap was this handbag card.

While this card might look complicated, it is really easy to make. I have done a video to show you how to make it.

This is the project that I contributed this month:

I am starting a new project with Diane Evans in Canada. Any orders over $75 will receive a card kit and tutorial to make four cards. This month’s kit uses the Sunflower Fields suite and has two standard and two fun fold cards. If you don’t have the Radiant Sunflowers bundle you can use any floral bundle and sentiments to complete your cards.
