Touches Of Ink – Holly Jolly Branches

Thanks for joining us for this month’s Touches of Ink Blog Hop. This is a fun hop – it focuses on suites and/or bundles. We don’t discuss what we are going to be using for the hop which means that everyone will use something different, or we might all decide that we want to use the same products!

I fell and cracked my knee cap a few weeks ago, so everything has been hard and I haven’t been very creative for the past little while. For today’s hop I decided that I would share a card that I made3 for my upcoming tutorial bundle. We are using the Holly Jolly Branches for this tutorial. This is one of my cards in this tutorial

We Fall In Colours – Graceful Evergreen Deer

Thank you for joining us for another We Fall In Colours blog hop. Each month we are given three colours and use those colours (together with neutrals) to make our cards. The colours for this month are Blackberry Bliss, Peaceful Pine and Hydrangea Hue.

The Christmas tree is from the Graceful Evergreen Deer stamp set. The deer aren’t in the stamp set. They are in the dies and can be hot foiled and then die cut. There are two different sized beautiful Christmas trees in the stamp set.

Let’s Craft Together – Holly Jolly Branches

Thank you for joining us for the Let’s Craft Together blog hop. We are a group of multi-cultural Stampin’ Up!® demonstrators in Australia who have developed a strong friendship though our love of stamping and our admiration of each other’s style of crafting. Each month one of us sets a challenge that we use for the blog hop. This month’s challenge is a fun fold birthday card and was set by Sharni Green.

Today I am CASE-ing the new catalogue. I paged through the catalogue a few times, and eventually decided on something that is not my usual CASE. I have taken the scrapbook layout on page 35 and made it into a card!

I have been working a lot with the Holly Jolly Branches bundle and the Whispering Woods DSP (which although not together in the catalogue are a perfect team) for the Avid Crafting Collective tutorial bundle. I of course, found those products in my hand to make my card. I hope that you can see the similarities between my card and the picture.

Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop – Holly Jolly Branches

I am very busy designing cards for the next Avid Crafting Collective Tutorial Bundle. This one is a Christmas theme and uses the Holly Jolly Branches bundle and Whispering Woods DSP. I had to use these products for today’s card.

Holly Jolly Branches Tutorial Bundle

The Avid Crafting Collective is busy designing our next tutorial bundle. This is a Christmas theme bundle using Holly Jolly Branches which will be available on the 1st September. There are 9 projects in the tutorial – 6 standard cards and 3 fancy folds with video presentations. We will each do assembly presentations of all 9 projects on our own Facebook pages starting on the 5th October. No measurements will be given in these presentations – you will need the tutorial for the measurements. Once we have completed the presentations, video links will be added to the written tutorial.

We have a number of options for you to choose from for this tutorial:

1. The Ultimate Package: This comprises the Holly Jolly Branches bundle (stamp set and coordinating dies), the tutorial kit (all the card stock to complete the nine projects in the tutorial plus six 6 x 12″ pieces of the Whispering Woods DSP (there are only three double sided designs in this pack, so it is a full sheet of each design but cut in half for easier postage), a pack of the Adhesive-Backed Sparkle Sequins, 1.5 metres of White Textured ribbon and envelopes for all the cards) and the PDF tutorial with full instructions and both metric and imperial measurements and assembly videos for the cards.) The cost for all of this (including postage) is $150.00. You will also receive $10 off your next order.

2. The Kit Package: This option gives you the tutorial kit (all the card stock to complete the nine projects in the tutorial plus six 6 x 12″ pieces of the Whispering Woods DSP (there are only three double sided designs in this pack, so it is a full sheet of each design but cut in half for easier postage), a pack of the Adhesive-Backed Sparkle Sequins, 1.5 metres of White Textured ribbon and envelopes for all the cards) and the PDF tutorial with full instructions and both metric and imperial measurements and assembly videos for the cards.) The cost for all of this (including postage) is $90.00

The above two options are only available to Australian residents. If you love all the projects and would like to make more than one set of the cards, additional kits are available for purchase for the discounted price of $70.00.

3. The Virtual Package: If you live overseas or don’t want to purchase the products, you are also welcome to join us. This option gives you the PDF tutorial with full instructions and both metric and imperial measurements and assembly videos for the cards. The cost for this option is $35.00.

Click here to complete an online registration form. My last day for registering for one of the the kit options will be the 20th September. I will place my order on the 21st September to allow time for them to get to me, get cut and packaged and sent off for you so that you receive them before I start my daily presentations on the 5th October. I would suggest that you register ASAP to avoid disappointment if any of the products sell out.

Funky Folds Blog Hop – Pretty Poinsettia

I am excited to be participating in this month’s funky folds blog hop. I LOVE fun folds and this is a group of like-minded paper crafters with same same passion for making cards with
funky folds.
Funky actually means “modern and stylish in an unconventional or striking way” This hop features cards that are not the usual rectangle/square portrait or landscape style.
All Blog Hops have an ‘anything goes’ theme using any type of ‘funky’ card fold.

I am part of a monthly collaboration called Fantastic Fun Folds. Each month we have a tutorial for one fancy fold card and 12 different samples using that tutorial. The tutorial for August was a”Triple Diamond Card”.

This is a “me” type of card – one that looks complicated but is a quite easy to make. The important thing is to measure (twice) and then score and cut accurately.
The card looks good from the back as well, when the writing panels are displayed.

Creativity Abounds Blog Hop – Pretty Poinsettias

Welcome to our Creativity Abounds Blog Hop. We are a group of very keen Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world that are coming together to share our creative ideas with you. We are happy that you can join us and hope that we can Inspire your creativity.

My project in the tutorial is a pretty card, and I have made a matching gift box.

This is a large box. For reference, I put in three of the new In Color ink pads (lying sideways) with a liquid glue on top of them. These fitted comfortably inside the box.

Paper Crafting Blog Hop – Everyday Arches

Welcome to our Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring talented Independent Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe including the USA and Australia are participating. We have a wide array of fun projects and design styles to share with you! This month’s theme is “December Holidays”

Once again I am still making Christmas cards! I have envelopes addressed and as a card is completed it gets written in and put in an envelope ready to be mailed. I always have good intentions of getting my cards out early, but somehow never manage to get there.

This is a card that I made yesterday.

The post box is made using two of the Everyday Arches dies. I couldn’t resist sticking one of the ladybugs embellishments (available in January from the new mini catalogue) onto the post box.

Festive Friday #0199 – Pine Tree Trimmings

Thanks for joining us for the another Festive Friday challenge. Have you ever played along with Festive Friday? There is a new challenge every second Friday. The challenge has an overall theme plus an inspiration list. You choose at least three of the inspiration elements and make a project. Your project can be a card, 3D item, or scrapbook layout and can reflect the main theme or just use the inspiration elements and have nothing to do with the theme. This is the inspiration list for this fortnight:

The theme for this fortnight is National Candy Cane Day. The inspo items I used are red, white, shaker card, Christmas tree and Christmas sentiment.
