Paper crafting Blog Hop – Beautifully Happy

Welcome to our Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring talented Independent Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe including the USA, United Kingdom and Australia are participating. We have a wide array of fun projects and design styles to share with you! Our theme this month is Sale-A-Bration, or as I like to call it – The Happiest Time Of The Year!

I have used all sale-A-Bration products in this card. The DSP is Dainty Delight which is a mega DSP pack – it has 48 sheets in the pack, 4 sheets of 12 double sided designs. The stamp set is Beautifully Happy. This is a two step stamping set which suits me perfectly as it saves me from colouring the flowers!

Be sure to hop all the way around and see how the others have used their Sale-A-Bration freebies. Please leave comments for us – we love getting feedback about our work!

If you live in Australia and shop with me you will receive this tutorial bundle FREE! This month’s tutorial bundle show cases fun fold cards. These are the cards have the WOW factor, but are sometimes quite easy to make even though they look complicated. We have 13 ideas for this occasion. Our blog hop each month is a project along the theme of the tutorial, but is a different design from the tutorial project.

I demonstrated this card at a virtual event last weekend using a different sheet of the Favored Flowers DSP.

Below is the replay of my Facebook live. Apologies in advance for the poor quality of the video. Facebook has decided that it will only allow me to download my videos in low quality. I have a fix foe next time, but unfortunately I didn’t know this until I downloaded the presentation!

Fragrant Flowers Spot Light

I am happy to be taking part in Kylie’s Monthly International Blog Highlights again.
The theme for this hop is “Thank you”. Many people forget those simple words. I have seen people’s days brightened because someone said a simple thank you to them.
Show your appreciation to people in your lives who have inspired you, helped you or supported you by sending them a thank you card.

When I first got the Fragrant Flowers bundle I was a bit unsure about whether or not I like it. Once I started using it, I quickly came to the realistaion that I LOVE it! When I realised that the dies coordinate with the Favored Flowers DSP, I loved it even more! If you want to see how I made this card, join me foe my Facebook live at 10:00 on Sunday morning (15 January). You can find my Facebook page here.

New Catalogue Blog Hop – Two-Tone Flora

We are all super excited about the new mini catalogue! Hopefully you have had a copy in your hands for a few days and have your NEED list drawn up. Our blog hop today is using products from this catalogue. I have used Two-Tone Flora. I love this bundle. It doesn’t matter which flowers you stamp, your card comes out beautifully!

I stamped my detailed flowers in Flirty Flamingo for the big flowers and Fresh Freesia for the smaller ones and then stamped off for the fill in so that I got the same colour in a lighter shade, and then die cut the flowers and leaves. The inside of the card has a stamped flower.

If you would like to purchase the products to make this card, click here. This link will take you to the project at my online store that has a list to all the products to make this card so that you can add them to your shopping cart. If you already have some of them, you can just remove them from the cart. Please use the host code on the side of my blog if you order total is under $250.00.

Hop around and see what everyone else has to inspire us today.

Technique Tuesday Blog Hop – Fragrant Flowers

Thank you for joining us for our Technique Tuesday blog hop. The technique that we are sharing this month is embossing. Heath embossing is one of my favourite techniques. It doesn’t matter how many time I have seen it, I still enjoy seeing the embossing powder melt! For me, heat embossing is an easy way to add some WOW! to a card.

Most of the products in this card are from the new January – April 2023 mini catalogue. You will be able to order them from tomorrow. These are some items that you may want to add to your wish list.
The flowers are stamped (embossed) and die cut using the Fragrant Flowers bundle. The DSP is the Dry Brushed Metallic Specialty DSP from the Delicate Desert suite. The sentiment is from the Artistically Inked stamp set and is embossed onto vellum.

A strip if DSP on the insert gives the finishing touch.

Below is the complete link list. Be sure to visit all the blogs to see what everyone has done with embossing

I used the Nature’s Harvest bundle for the flower image and die cuts. The sentiment is stamped with the Go To Greetings stamp set and cut out using a die from the Holly Berry dies.
