Pansy Bear

Welcome to this month’s Blogging Friends Blog Hop. Of course this month we are all very excited about the new catalogue, so our theme for this hop is “Anything Goes!”

A few years ago I went through a stage where I made teddy bears. That means that we have lots of handmade bears around the house, and have lots of love for teddy bears. When I showed my husband a picture of a pansy, he saw a bear’s body in the centre (once you see it, you can’t unsee it!). I had to try to make his vision become reality! He is very happy with the way this card came out. The teddy bear next to the card is one that I made years ago (her name is Blossom!) and she also seems to love this card.
Here is a close up of the bear in the pansy.

For this card I used the Pansy Patch bundle, Pansy Petals DSP and 2021-2023 In Color Jewels. I used the Messages die to cut out the sentiment. The face was done using white craft ink and a toothpick.

Thanks for stopping by today. Hope everyone has a fun and creative weekend. Happy Mother’s Day to all moms.! Be sure to hop around and see what everyone else has created.

ESAD – Farewell Annual Catalogue Blog Hop

I am really excited to be joining in in an ESAD blog hop! If you are wondering what ESAD is, here is an explanation

Our theme for this hop is retiring products from the 2020-2021 catalogue. I have used the Gorgeous Posies stamp set and retiring in colours for my card. This stamp set was from the Gorgeous Posies project kit, but can be used on its own.

These were my favourite in colours from this collection, and I am sad to see them go. However, the new in colours are beautiful, so maybe I can find some new colours to love!

Thanks for hopping along with me today. Next up is Tanya Rees. Let’s hop over and see what fabulous project she has created for us

Our theme this month is “Thinking of You” with an emphasis on ladies.
You may have arrived from Shirley Merker’s blog. She always has something exciting to share with us!

This theme at this time of the year, would have to lead us to be thinking about Mother’s Day. I have chosen to use the beautiful Fine Art Floral Suite. If you know me, you will find this card quite unusual, as aside from the sentiment (which is inside the card) it has no stamping!

This is a fun fold card which flaps open twice, and the sentiment is inside. The sentiment is from the Dressed to Impress stamp set.

You can watch my video below for full instructions about how to create this fun fold

Paper Crafting Blog Hop – Tasteful Textures

Welcome to our Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe including the USA, United Kingdom and Australia are participating. We have a wide array of fun projects and design styles to share with you! Our theme this month is “Happy Birthday”. You may have arrived from Shirley Merker’s blog. I always love seeing what she has created to share with us!

I used a whole mixture if different stamp sets and accessories for this card. Most of these products are not together in the catalogue, but they all came to mind in my creative process. The flowers are from the Tasteful Textures stamp set, the greeting is from the Happiest of Birthdays set (appropriate for the theme), the embossing folder is Greenery which is part of the Forever Greenery suite.

The DSP is the In Good Taste which is part of the In Good Taste suite. When you first look at this DSP it is good for masculine cards. It is all wood and brick textures. By usine the ones that has some pink in them ans using small pieces, it manages to come out soft and feminine.

These are the supplies I used in my card
