Paper Crafting Blog Hop – Two Tone Flora

Welcome to our Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring talented Independent Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe including the USA and Australia are participating. We have a wide array of fun projects and design styles to share with you! This month’s theme is “Last Look At Retiring Products”

There are a lot of stamps and bundles that I am going to miss. It was difficult to decide which one to use. I finally decided to use a card that I made a while ago. Even though I have been looking at it for a while, it is still one of my favourites.

This card uses the Two-Tone Flora stamp set and the coordinating Two-Tone Flora dies. Both of these are discounted at the moment, so if they are on your wish list now is the time to buy them. The sentiment is from the Something Fancy stamp set and cut out with the Something Fancy dies, both of which are in the new catalogue.

Be sure to hop all the way around and see what the other ladies are sad to see leaving. Please leave comments for us – we love getting feedback about our work!

You can click here to purchase all the products used to make this card at my online store. This will add all the products to your cart, you can remove any that you don’t want to purchase. Please use the host code on the side of my blog if you order total is under $250.00.

This is the project that I contributed this month:

Chain Card Swap – Simply Zinnias

At the beginning of October, I started a fun journey with 10 other Australian demonstrators. We called it a “Chain Card Swap”. It is a card version of what is called “Chinese Whispers” in Australia (we called it “Broken Telephone” in South Africa). Each of us designed a card (round 1) and sent it off to one of the other participants. That person CASE-d (Copy And Share Everything) the card and send their version on to the next person. The card made its way around until finally a version came home to the maker. This is the tenth card in a series of blog hops for each of the card designs to share the fun and amazement at the evolution.

The next card that we are sharing was designed by Sharni Green. My suggestion is that you start at her blog post and then click through the link list which is in round order. My CASE of her card was at round 10. This is another one where if you look at the first card and then the last card, you wouldn’t think that they are related.

I used the gorgeous Flowering Zinnias suite for this card.

You can click here to purchase all the products used to make this card at my online store. This will add all the products to your cart, you can remove any that you don’t want to purchase. Please use the host code on the side of my blog if you order total is under $250.00.

There is still time for you to join the Flowering Zinnia Stamp Camp (although you won’t have your kit before the event). For details about how to join click here. These are 3 of the cards we will be making (there are 9 in total).

It was mind blowing to see the difference between the first card and the one that returned home. Hop though the blog posts to see how we all interpreted the card differently and how it evolved from start to finish.

Stampin’ Dreams – Sending Smiles

Thank you for joining us for another Stampin’ Dreams blog hop. The theme for this month is “Florals”. I am using the Sending Smiles stamp set and Sending dies. Both of these are retiring with the current annual catalogue. If you want them, they are discounted last chance products.

This is one of my favourite stamp and die sets, and I am going to be really sad once it is gone.

You can click here to purchase all the products used to make this card at my online store. This will add all the products to your cart, you can remove any that you don’t want to purchase. Please use the host code on the side of my blog if you order total is under $250.00.

Each of us designed a card (round 1) and sent it off to one of the other participants. That person CASE-d (Copy And Share Everything) the card and send their version on to the next person. The card made its way around until finally a version came home to the maker. This is the eighth card in series of blog hops for each of the card designs to share the fun and amazement at the evolution.

The next card that we are sharing was designed by Monique Fielder. My suggestion is that you start at her blog post and then click through the link list which is in round order. My CASE of her card was at round 3.

The Translucent Florals bundle is carrying over to the new annual catalogue, but won’t have the bundle 10% discount. The gorgeous Delightful Floral DSP is still available in the online store.

Let’s Craft Together – Layered Florals

Thank you for joining us for this month’s Let’s Craft Together blog hop. We are a group of
multi-cultural Stampin’ Up!® demonstrators in Australia who have developed a strong friendship though our love of stamping and our admiration of each other’s style of crafting. Each month one of us sets a challenge that we use for the blog hop. This month’s challenge is a water colouring challenge that was set by Julia Quinn.

Some of the ladies who hop with us do the most amazing colouring. However, if you follow my work, you will know that I am not one of them! My card uses the most basic type of water colouring.

I embossed a piece of Basic White card stock using the Layered Florals 3D embossing folder (which I am delighted to see is carrying over to the new annual catalogue). I picked up some ink with my water painters and coloured the raised leaves and flowers. The sentiment is from the Go To Greetings stamp set which is retiring at the end of the month.

It always amazes me how we all have the same starting point, and come up with completely different projects. Hop around and see how everyone else has interpreted this challenge.

International Project Highlights Winners Blog Hop – Layered Florals

I am super excited to be part of the International Highlights Top Ten Winners Blog Hop hosted by Kylie Bertucci. I was invited to participate in this hop because my card was voted in the top 10 of the entries in the International Blog Highlights. Thank you to everyone who voted for my Notes Of Nature split card.

My card for today uses the Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder

I started by blending Blackberry Bliss, Orchid Oasis and Bubble Bath onto a piece of Basic White card stock.
Give the blended card stock a good spritz of water and then run it through the embossing folder.
Gently rub your Whisper White ink pad over the embossed image to add ink to the raised leaves and flowers.
I was delighted with the final result!

Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop – Simply Zinnia

Welcome to another Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop. You may be starting at my blog or landed here from another one.
Each month there is a new Inspirational challenge. This month we have a picture challenge. You can either use the color challenge to create a project unrelated to the image – There will generally be 5-6 colors for the color challenge you may use some or all colors plus Stampin’ Up! basics range (black, white, vanilla) or use the image subject as inspiration for your project any way you can tie them together is fine. If you are feeling super creative, use BOTH! This is the inspiration for this month:

My card uses the new Simply Zinnia bundle which is the new Online Exclusive available from the 5th March. I couldn’t get the Orchid Oasis into my card, it was looking too dark against the pastel colours, but I managed to use all the others.

You are currently visiting Tracy Held at Trace Of Creativity in Australia. Please see the list below & hop through all of the other participants to see how they were inspired.

Welcome to our Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring talented Independent Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe including the USA and Australia are participating. We have a wide array of fun projects and design styles to share with you! This month’s theme is “Sale-A-Bration” – remember that these products are only available until the end of the month and then they are gone forever! For today’s hop, I am using one of my favourite stamps from this year’s offering – Detailed Dogwood.

I punched a circle from Masking Paper and blended over it. Without removing the Masking paper, I stamped the floral images onto my card front.

Be sure to hop all the way around and see what other Sale-A-Bration products have been showcased. Please leave comments for us – we love getting feedback about our work!

Share It Sunday – Color & Contour

Thank you for joining us for our Sunday blog hop (of course in Australia this goes live at 3:00am Monday morning, but it is a great start to the working week when we wake up!) There is no theme for this hop, it is for each of us to choose what project we want to share.

I do a weekly Facebook live at 10:00 am on a Sunday morning. My card this morning used one of my favourite colour combinations – pink and black.

I used an exta flower and left overs from the leaves inside the card

You can watch the replay of my live below.
