Make It Masculine Blog Hop

Thank you for joining us for today’s blog hop. This time we have a masculine theme. We sometimes find masculine cards challenging, but there are lots of masculine options in the new annual catalogue.

I purchased this bundle because when my husband saw it in the catalogue her LOVED it! This is a fun fold card that opens up like this:

This suite is so good, that The Aussie Crafting Collective (a collaboration of three Australian demonstrators) decided that we would use it for our Stamp Camp on 1st June. If you are looking for masculine inspiration and love this suite, there is still time for you to join us. You can find all the details about the Stamp Camp here. I will leave the registration open for another few days. If you are in Australia, you probably won’t receive the kit in time for the event, but you will have the tutorial and can re-watch the presentations to make the cards at your leisure.

Hop around and see what other masculine inspiration there is for us.

Share It Sunday -Oceanfront Eclipse Card

Thank you for joining us for our Sunday blog hop (of course in Australia this goes live at 1:00am Monday morning, but it is a great start to the working week when we wake up!) There is no theme for this hop, it is for each of us to choose what project we want to share.

I had lots of fun on my Facebook live last weekend reviving an old technique – the eclipse technique. There is a bit of a twist on the standard version. This is my card:

You can click here to purchase all the products used to make this card at my online store. This will add all the products to your cart, you can remove any that you don’t want to purchase. Please use the host code on the side of my blog if you order total is under $250.00.

I used every stamp in the Oceanfront stamp set in this card, plus the bird from the Waves Of Inspiration and the sentiment from the Go To Greetings. I had 11 acrylic blocks with stamps on them to make this card!
Below is the Facebook replay so that you can see how it was made.

Hop around and see what everyone else has been up to this week.

Paper Crafting Blog Hop – Legendary Ride

Welcome to our Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring talented Independent Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe including the USA, United Kingdom and Australia are participating. We have a wide array of fun projects and design styles to share with you! This month we are focusing on the guys.
A couple of weeks ago I spent a lovely afternoon crafting with some fellow demonstrators. This card was designed by Linda Perrins and is perfect for today’s hop.

I am obsessed with this Z-fold. It is awesome because it is made from a single sheet of card stock and then folds flat to be mailed. I demonstrated a flowery version of this Z-fold at a virtual event last weekend. You can see that card and the replay of the Facebook live showing how I made it here.

Be sure to hop all the way around and see the masculine inspiration the others have provided. Please leave comments for us – we love getting feedback about our work!

Welcome to our Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring talented Independent Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe including the USA, United Kingdom and Australia are participating. We have a wide array of fun projects and design styles to share with you! Our theme this month is “Masculine”. Many of us find it difficult to make masculine cards. Stampin’ Up!® has come to our rescue in the new catalogue – there are a number of masculine sets that will help you to make these cards. (You may find that there are so many masculine options that you don’t know which one to use first!

You may be starting your hop here, or you may have landed from Joy Nelson’s blog. Did you love her project?

My husband was really excited when he saw the Vintage Tools stamp set in the catalogue, so of course I had to order it for him! I stamped the tools onto Smokey Slate card stock, coloured the handles in using my Blends and then fussy cut them. The DSP is Sun Prints and the background texture was made with the Stripes and Splatters 3D embossing folder

Be sure to complete the hop to see all the wonderful ideas that we have to share with you. The next stop is Terri Stewart. I can’t wait to see what she has created this month.

Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop – Let’s Set Sail

This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is Blog-Hop-Header.jpg

Thank you for joining us for this Stampin’ Creative blog hop. The theme for this month is “Masculine Makes” We all seem to find masculine cards a bit more challenging. There are so many beautiful floral stamp sets, you are spoiled for choice when it comes to making feminine cards, but we battle to make cards for the men in our lives. Fortunately, there are some lovely masculines stamp sets that are available at the moment. One of my favourites is Let’s Set Sail. As an added bonus, you can bundle it with the Sailboat Builder punch.

This is a faux step card and look like this from the side

I have had a crazy couple of weeks, so things aren’t as up to date as I would like them to be. Check back here on Sunday, and I will have instructions on how to make this card posted.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Below is the list of all the hop participants. Be sure to visit them all to see what they have created. We love hearing from you, so please leave us comments to let us know what you think about our projects

There is no theme for this hop, it is for each of us to choose what project we want to share. This week I have been working on Masculine cards. I found the pelican in the Waves of Inspiration stamp set was the perfect go to.

I used the Bark 3D embossing folder (which has unfortunately sold out in Australia) to create the wavy looking background. I decided to stamp the water for some variation ofr my Facebook live this morning.

If you missed the live you can watch the replay below:
