Welcome to our April Creativity Abounds Blog Hop. We are a group of very keen Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world that are coming together to share our creative ideas with you. We are happy that you can join us and hope that we can Inspire you to make creations of your own.
If you live in Australia and shop with me you will receive this tutorial bundle FREE! The theme of this tutorial bundle is Masculine cards. We all seem to have difficulty with creating cards for the men in our lives, so we decided that we would put our heads together and see if we can offer some masculine inspiration. Here is a sneak peek of the images that are featured in the tutorial bundle this month.
To offer additional inspiration, we have all created an extra project to share with you in this hop. For my card in the tutorial bundle, I used the Whiskey Business stamp set. Here is another idea using the same stamp set
This card isn’t quite a fun fold, but it is different from the usual standard card
My video below will show you how I created this card
You may be starting here or have come from someone else’s blog – either way there is a list at the end of this post to help you move around all the different blogs and get many amazing ideas. We all have our country listed – so if you are looking for a demonstrator in your country, these demonstrators would love to look after you with your Stampin’ Up!® shopping or if you would like to join our Stampin’ Up!® teams.
As I promised yesterday, here is the video tutorial for the layered shapes cards. In this tutorial, I used die cuts for the sentiments. It is very unusual for me not to have any stamping on a card. Once you see how easy this is, you won’t be able to stop using this technique!
Welcome to our Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe including the USA, United Kingdom and Australia are participating. We have a wide array of fun projects and design styles to share with you! Our theme this month is “Thinking of you – Guys”. You may have arrived from Shirley Merker’s blog. She always has a fabulous project to show to us!
One of my fellow Aussie demonstrators – Chloe Evans showed us a card that she had made using this technique. I had to give it a try, and thought it would work perfectly for this hop. The sentiment is a sneak peek from the Forever Fern stamp set which is in the new catalogue. I used my layering circles and Well Written dies. These are retiring, so if you want them, you need to order soon.
To give different options, I tried the card with the layering squares too. Which one do you prefer?
I will do a video on how I made this card, so come back tomorrow for those instructions. For now, lets hop over to Sue’s blog and see what she is sharing with us today.
All the supplies used can be ordered through my online store . If you are in Australia and do not already have a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, I would be happy to help you with your stamping needs. Even during these crazy times, there are still happy occasions happening. One of them is the birth of a new baby. This is a quick and easy card suing the cute rhino from the Animal Outing stamp set (soon to be retired)
I used some of the Come Sail Away DSP for the background and Swirly Frames to surround him. I couloured the bird in with the Pretty peacock blend.
Welcome to our monthly Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators Blog Hop, in which demonstrators from around the world share their latest projects. This month’s theme is ‘Father’s Day or masculine cards. In Australia, Father’s Day is in September. I have kept my card more of a card for dad for any day (birthday or just because he is great) rather than specifically for Father’s Day.
I decided to do something a bit different and cut the card into a pennant shape. I have used the Geared Up Garage stamp set and the cogs from the Garage Gears Thinlits Dies. The cogs were cut using the champagne foil paper. This set is carrying over to the new catalogue, but it won’t be available as a bundle, so if you would like to purchase it at the 10% bundle discount you need to put in your order ASAP.
These are the products that I used in this card. The DSP is the soon to be retired Best Route paper.
