Welcome to our Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring talented Independent Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe including the USA, United Kingdom and Australia are participating. We have a wide array of fun projects and design styles to share with you! Our theme this month is “Masculine”. Many of us find it difficult to make masculine cards. Stampin’ Up!® has come to our rescue in the new catalogue – there are a number of masculine sets that will help you to make these cards. (You may find that there are so many masculine options that you don’t know which one to use first!

You may be starting your hop here, or you may have landed from Joy Nelson’s blog. Did you love her project?

My husband was really excited when he saw the Vintage Tools stamp set in the catalogue, so of course I had to order it for him! I stamped the tools onto Smokey Slate card stock, coloured the handles in using my Blends and then fussy cut them. The DSP is Sun Prints and the background texture was made with the Stripes and Splatters 3D embossing folder

Be sure to complete the hop to see all the wonderful ideas that we have to share with you. The next stop is Terri Stewart. I can’t wait to see what she has created this month.

Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop – Let’s Set Sail

This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is Blog-Hop-Header.jpg

Thank you for joining us for this Stampin’ Creative blog hop. The theme for this month is “Masculine Makes” We all seem to find masculine cards a bit more challenging. There are so many beautiful floral stamp sets, you are spoiled for choice when it comes to making feminine cards, but we battle to make cards for the men in our lives. Fortunately, there are some lovely masculines stamp sets that are available at the moment. One of my favourites is Let’s Set Sail. As an added bonus, you can bundle it with the Sailboat Builder punch.

This is a faux step card and look like this from the side

I have had a crazy couple of weeks, so things aren’t as up to date as I would like them to be. Check back here on Sunday, and I will have instructions on how to make this card posted.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Below is the list of all the hop participants. Be sure to visit them all to see what they have created. We love hearing from you, so please leave us comments to let us know what you think about our projects

Share It Sunday

This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is Share-It-Sunday-Header.jpg

Thank you for joining us for our Sunday blog hop (of course in Australia this goes live at 2:00am Monday morning, but it is a great start to the working week when we wake up!) There is no theme for this hop, it is for each of us to choose what project we want to share. This week I have been working on Masculine cards. I found the pelican in the Waves of Inspiration stamp set was the perfect go to.

I used the Bark 3D embossing folder (which has unfortunately sold out in Australia) to create the wavy looking background. I decided to stamp the water for some variation ofr my Facebook live this morning.

If you missed the live you can watch the replay below:

Be sure to hop around and see what everyone else has chosen to share with us.

Sometimes it is difficult to make masculine cards. Wildlife Wonder stamp set in the January – June 2022 mini catalogue has beautiful animals that make it easy to create those masculine cards. Combine them with some trees from Beauty Of Friendship, and you have a makings of a forest scene complete with animals.

Layering Circles Card Video Tutorial

As I promised yesterday, here is the video tutorial for the layered shapes cards. In this tutorial, I used die cuts for the sentiments. It is very unusual for me not to have any stamping on a card. Once you see how easy this is, you won’t be able to stop using this technique!

Layered Circles Masculine Card

Welcome to our Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe including the USA, United Kingdom and Australia are participating. We have a wide array of fun projects and design styles to share with you! Our theme this month is “Thinking of you – Guys”. You may have arrived from Shirley Merker’s blog. She always has a fabulous project to show to us!

One of my fellow Aussie demonstrators – Chloe Evans showed us a card that she had made using this technique. I had to give it a try, and thought it would work perfectly for this hop.
The sentiment is a sneak peek from the Forever Fern stamp set which is in the new catalogue. I used my layering circles and Well Written dies. These are retiring, so if you want them, you need to order soon.

To give different options, I tried the card with the layering squares too. Which one do you prefer?

I will do a video on how I made this card, so come back tomorrow for those instructions.
For now, lets hop over to Sue’s blog and see what she is sharing with us today.

Thanks for hopping with us. If you get lost along the way here is the complete list of hop stops.
