Shaded Summer Embossed card

Thank you for joining us for the June Blogging Friends hop. We are still enamored with the new catalogue, so today’s hop is focusing on things that we want to share.

I have found a beautiful stamp set. I love everything about this set – the images, sentiments and the fonts that the sentiments are written in. It is a stamp set that doesn’t have any coordinating dies, and is called Shaded Summer

To do the background on the card, I stamped the image with Versamak ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. The ribbon is the White Crinkled Seam Binding ribbon that I squished onto my Flirty Flamingo ink pad to colour. The finishing touches are the Silver & Clear Epxoy Essentials. I used clear on the background and silver on the Flirty Flamingo flowers.

Thanks for stopping by today. Hope everyone has a fun and creative weekend. Be sure to hop around and see what everyone else has created.

CASEd Card Using Garden Wishes and Dragonfly Garden

We are back in hard lock down for 7 days, so I have been catching up on some stamping! This card is a combination of 2 challenges – the first is CASEing the Catty Sunday Inspiration and the other is Colour Inkspiration challenges

The theme for CASING the Catty was to use an embossing technique (heat or dry embossing). I CASEd the card on page 22 of the annual catalogue

This is the colour challenge:

ESAD – New Annual Catalogue Blog Hop

Thanks for joining us for another ESAD blog hop! If you are wondering what ESAD means, here is an explanation.

The theme for this hop is the 2021-2022 annual catalogue. We are all really excited when a new catalogue comes around, and there is so much new and exciting stuff that it is easy to get confused or to want EVERYTHING! (If you are one of those people, you should consider signing up as a demonstrator!). I have decided to use a stamp set that you may have overlooked called Brew Some Fun. As the name suggests, this is a fun stamp set with some lovely sentiments. My first card uses the coffee cup:

For the people who prefer tea, there is a tea cup image as well

For the focal point tea or coffee cup, I stamped the image with Memento ink onto Basic White card. I then fussy cut and coloured with my Polished Pink and Fresh Freesia blends. I took my little cup and smooshed it (technical term) onto my Versamark ink pad. I covered it with clear embossing powder and then set the powder with my heat tool. Next I added more colour and repeated the embossing. I did this three times. The final result is that the cup is quite shiny . I can’t seem to pick up the shine in the photo.

Thanks for stopping by today. Next up isDelys Cram. Let’s hop over and see what fabulous project she has created for us.

Heat embossing using To A Wild Rose

Thank you for visiting today as I join other Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world in playing along with our friend Kylie’s International Blog Highlights to share cards that show appreciation.
The theme for this hop is “Thank you”. Many people forget those simple words. I have seen people’s days brightened because someone said a simple thank you to them.
Show your appreciation to people in your lives who have inspired you, helped you or supported you by sending them a thank you card or project.

Today I have used retiring products – To A wild Rose stamp set (which is selling at a really good price at the moment) and Rococo Rose card stock(which is no longer available). This technique will be as effective on any of the dark colour card stock.

You can see how I made this card in the video below:

Inlaid Floating Technique for Valentine’s Day

Welcome to this month’s Blogging Friends Blog Hop. Our theme for this month is “Red Hot Love”! The guidelines are to make a monochromatic card using different shades of red.

I decided to try a new technique – Inlaid floating. I used the Always In My Heart stamp set and the Stitched Be Mine dies. These two are not officially coordinated, but they work really well together. I used Cherry Cobbler Poppy Parade and Real Red card stock, along with the Snail Mail DSP and the Resin Hearts from the Snail Mail suite

The video below will show you how I made this card

Thanks for hopping by today. Hope everyone has a happy (romantic) Valentine’s day and eats lots of chocolate! Be sure to hop around and see what everyone else has created
