I am starting a new project with Diane Evans in Canada. Any orders over $75 will receive a card kit and tutorial to make four cards. Let’s Craft Together – Terrific Toadstools

Thank you for joining us for the first Let’s Craft Together blog hop of 2025. We are a group of multi-cultural Stampin’ Up!® demonstrators in Australia who have developed a strong friendship though our love of stamping and our admiration of each other’s style of crafting. Each month one of us sets a challenge that we use for the blog hop. This month’s challenge was set by Sharni Green. The challenge is to use one of the card sketches in the January – April 2025 mini catalogue.

After a lot of thinking (and changing my mind) I decided to use this sketch:

Festive Friday #0177 – Hearts & Hugs

Thanks for joining us for the another Festive Friday challenge. Have you ever played along with Festive Friday? There is a new challenge every second Friday. The challenge has an overall theme plus an inspiration list. You choose at least three of the inspiration elements and make a project. Your project can be a card, 3D item, or scrapbook layout and can reflect the main theme or just use the inspiration elements and have nothing to do with the theme. This is the inspiration list for this fortnight.

The theme for this fortnight is Valentine’s. I couldn’t get away from the Sale-A-Bration Heart Shaped bundle for this challenge

Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop – One More Year

Welcome to another Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop. You may be starting at my blog or landed here from another one.
Each month there is a new Inspirational challenge. This month we have an inspirational image and color challenge, you can use either part to create your project i.e:
INK
use the color challenge to create a project unrelated to the image – {There will generally be 5-6 colors for the color challenge you may use some or all colors plus the Stampin’ Up! Basics Colors (Basic Beige, Basic White, Very Vanilla, Basic Black)}
INSPIRATION
use the image subject as inspiration for your project any way you can tie them together is fine or if you are feeling super creative, use BOTH

I managed to get all the colours into my card, although the picture wasn’t part of the inspiration this time.

I love the cute images and sassy sentiments in the One More Year stamp set. Below is a Facebook live presentation that I did for a virtual event. The card in this presentation used the cake from the stamp set rather than the cheese and wine.

Paper Crafting Blog Hop – Heart Shaped

My project uses the Heart Shaped bundle. This is a level 2 reward, so you will need to spend $200 to redeem it. I LOVE this bundle. It is great for Valentine’s Day, weddings or engagements, anniversaries or just a card for a friend.

I used the Marbled Elegance DSP which is a match made in heaven with this bundle.
The embellishments in the flowers aren’t showing up very well in the photo. I gently pressed my Rhinestone Basic Jewels into some VersaMark ink and then heat embossed them with gold embossing powder.

Let’s Craft Together – Love Is Heart Shaped

Now that we are over the festive season, the next important card making focus is for Valentine’s Day. With that in mind, I set this month’s challenge – Love Is In The Air! I’m not only thinking Valentine’s Day, but also weddings, engagements or any occasion celebrating love.

Spoiler alert: My card uses two of the new Sale-A-Bration products – Starstruck Embossing Folder (level 1) and Heart Shaped Bundle (level 2).

I stamped the floral heart in the top left corner. I die cut the heart from the Marbled Elegance DSP and then stuck the outside overlapping the stamped heart. The inside of the die cut heart gets stuck overlapping that heart and then the whole layer is run through the embossing folder. The sentiment is from the Memorable Blooms stamp set and is die cut using the Delightful Wishes dies.

I stamped the top of the hearts along the bottom of the insert for a pretty edging inside the card.

Thanks for joining us for the first 2025 Festive Friday. Have you ever played along with Festive Friday? There is a new challenge every second Friday. The challenge has an overall theme plus an inspiration list. You choose at least three of the inspiration elements and make a project. Your project can be a card, 3D item, or scrapbook layout and can reflect the main theme or just use the inspiration elements and have nothing to do with the theme. This is the inspiration list for this fortnight.

The theme for this list is “National Winnie the Pooh Day”. Two of my best friends LOVE Winnie the Pooh, so I was excited when I saw the list. Unfortunately, my card doesn’t have a Pooh bear or honey. I used brown, yellow, red and bees from the list.

Paper Crafting Blog Hop – Silver & Gold

My card is giving a sneak peek of a Sale-A-Bration item that you will be able to redeem on orders of $100 from the 6th of January – it is the Starstruck Embossing Folder. When you loom at this embossing folder, you will probably see pretty flowers. I thought that those flowers might be able to pass as fireworks! Using a Sponge Dauber I very lightly applied VersaMark ink over random fireworks and then heat embossed them with silver embossing powder. Next I applied the Versamark randomly over uncoloured fireworks and heat embossed them with gold embossing powder. I embossed a 1.5 cm (5/8 in) strip and added some silver and gold embossing powder and stuck that inside the card.

Paper Crafting Blog Hop – Detailed Dogwood

Welcome to our Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring talented Independent Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe including the USA and Australia are participating.
