Paper Crafting Blog Hop – April 2025

Welcome to our Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring talented Independent Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe including the USA and Australia are participating. We have a wide array of fun projects and design styles to share with you! This month’s theme is “DSP Showcase”.

I think that we are all guilty of hoarding our beautiful DSP instead of using it and sending it out into the world to spread joy. For today’s card I used the DSP from one paper pack. You could easily use the technique to get rid of some scraps from multiple packs. As long as the papers coordinate, your card will be lovely!

The sentiments are a sneak peek from a stamp set that will be launched in the new catalogue on the 5th May called Words & Wishes.

Paper Crafting Blog Hop – Delicate Whispers

I have taken a bit of poetic license with the sentiment – I couldn’t find a get well sentiment that fitted my card. Instead I have used a Hello Friend. I think that is a good starting point and I can write my get well message inside the card!

Paper Crafting Blog Hop – Everyday Arches

Once again I am still making Christmas cards! I have envelopes addressed and as a card is completed it gets written in and put in an envelope ready to be mailed. I always have good intentions of getting my cards out early, but somehow never manage to get there.

This is a card that I made yesterday.

The post box is made using two of the Everyday Arches dies. I couldn’t resist sticking one of the ladybugs embellishments (available in January from the new mini catalogue) onto the post box.

Paper Crafting Blog Hop – Charming Day

When you are hopping across different hemispheres, we are always in the opposite season. In Australia we are (supposedly) in spring. The weather in Melbourne hasn’t quite got that memo yet and warm weather is slowly coming in, although only for a day or two before it is cold again.

I have been sick for the past 10 days, so it was difficult to make a happy spring card when I’m not feeling springy! I tried to focus on happy flowers and landed up with a card for myself!

I don’t often use white on white, but I am happy with the way this turned out. Change the sentiment and it could be a happy spring card.

This is the project that I contributed this month:

I am starting a new project with Diane Evans in Canada. Any orders over $75 will receive a card kit and tutorial to make four cards. This month’s kit uses the Sunflower Fields suite and has two standard and two fun fold cards. If you don’t have the Radiant Sunflowers bundle you can use any floral bundle and sentiments to complete your cards. If you have a demonstrator but would like to purchase the kit, it is available for $60 including postage. Send me an email on TraceOfCreativity@outlook.com and I will organise to send it to you.
