Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop – September 2023

I took a very narrow focus for the colour challenge (possibly because I was so excited about the sketch I didn’t read the description properly) and just used the colours in one piece of DSP from the O Holy Night pack.

Share It Sunday – All About Autumn

Thank you for joining us for our Sunday blog hop (of course in Australia this goes live at 1:00am Monday morning, but it is a great start to the working week when we wake up!) There is no theme for this hop, it is for each of us to choose what project we want to share.

I needed a sympathy card and I have been wanting to try make a card using the fractured card technique. I got the All About Autumn DSP last week and decided that would work well for these cards. However, the DSP is beautiful and doesn’t need to be for sympathy cards.

I made a second version using two different pieces of the DSP.

Paper Crafting Blog Hop – Translucent Florals

Welcome to our Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring talented Independent Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe including the USA, United Kingdom and Australia are participating. We have a wide array of fun projects and design styles to share with you! This month’s theme is “September – December 2023 Mini Catalogue”. There are so many gorgeous options to choose from in this catalogue. Together with Shirley, Terri and six other demonstrators, I am participating in a World Card Making Day Online Retreat (more about this further on) and I am demonstrating my cards using the Translucent Florals bundle, so I decided to use that same bundle for today’s hop.

The flowers on this card are made using dies from the Translucent Florals dies. There are two sizes of flowers in the die set that you can use to make the flowers that don’t have coordinating stamps.
I got really lucky as the Delightful Floral DSP has just been released in the online store and this matches the bundle perfectly!

Creativity Abounds Blog Hop – Winter Meadow

Technique Tuesday – Simple Stamping with Gift Of Giving

Let’s Craft Together – September picture challenge using Beary Christmas DSP

Thank you for joining us for this month’s Let’s Craft Together blog hop. We are a group of
multi-cultural Stampin’ Up!® demonstrators in Australia who have developed a strong friendship though our love of stamping and our admiration of each other’s style of crafting. Each month one of us sets a challenge that we use for the blog hop. This month’s challenge is a picture inspiration that was set by Maheswari Rajaguru.

I decided to use the layout of the picture, but I changed the orientation. I took the picture and flipped it 90º.

This card is really easy to make – it is just cutting images from the Beary Christmas DSP which will be available from 6th September. I wanted to make my card less Christmas and more general birthday. Some DSP inside and my card was complete!

Share it Sunday Blog Hop – Abundant Beauty Masks

I have received my pre-order of stuff from the September – December mini catalogue, and of course I NEED to play with my new toys. There is so much to love in this catalogue. One of my favourites is the Abundant Beauty Masks.

Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop

INK – use the colour challenge to create a project unrelated to the image -{There will generally be 6 colours for the colour challenge you may use some or all colours plus Stampin’ Up! basics range (black, white, vanilla) or
INSPIRATION – use the image subject as inspiration for your project any way you can tie them together is fine. This is the beautiful image for this month:

We all love new stuff. I HAD to have a play with my new Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks. I managed to use five of the six colours – I couldn’t find a place for Garden Green.

I added some of the flowers to the insert to have the inside and outside matching.

The Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks are available in the upcoming September – December mini catalogue. You can order them on the 6th September.
