Save the date for the Creativity Abounds Home For Christmas Stamp Camp

The Creativity Abounds team have been very busy planning our next Stamp Camp. This is happening on the 24th – 25th October in an exclusive Facebook group.

Joining the Stamp Camp is easy. Click here to go to my online store to order your products. This will place the order for the the Home For Christmas bundle, Timeless Christmas DSP and Sticker Sheet, Adhesive-Backed Christmas Berries and White (1cm) Textured Ribbon. (Remember to add the Product Of The Month for only $9.00) You will receive the kit which contains all the card stock to make the 13 projects in the tutorial at no cost – all you pay is $10.95 postage.

You will also need general stamping consumables – ink, adhesives, stamping tools which aren’t included in the kit.
Once you have placed your order directly with Stampin’ Up! for the products, I will send an invoice for the postage on the kit. I will post the kit containing the card stock to make all the projects in the tutorial bundle and send an invitation to an exclusive Facebook group. The tutorial bundle (which will have video links included for all the projects) will be uploaded to the Facebook group for you to download.

At the event, we will each demonstrate a bonus project using the suite. You get 26 projects (13 in the tutorial and 13 bonus ones from the blog hop) with video instructions or Facebook live demonstrations and lifetime access to the event page. You can see all the bonus projects that we will be making at the event in the blog hop that goes live on the 17th September .

If you already own the products (perhaps you are a demonstrator who purchased them on pre-order), you can still join the Stamp Camp. Simply place an order with me for $151 (equivalent value) and let me know that you have done the substitution for the Stamp Camp.

Product Of The Month Blog Hop – Glow Of Harvest DSP with Butterfly Flight

Welcome to our Product Of The Month (POM) blog hop. If you haven’t heard of POM yet, this is what it is all about. Stampin’ Up! has started a new monthly promotion. Every month there will be a new product. To get your hands on the product, all you need to do is place an order. If your order is $125 (in Australia – the $ amount will differ depending on your market) then you can add the Product Of The Month to your order for only $9. We won’t know in advance what the POM will be. It could be a stamp set, embellishments, ribbon, dies or any other paper crafting product. No matter what it is, paying $9 is a bargain!

This month’s POM is a pack of DSP – Glow Of Harvest. The colours in this DSP are soft and pretty and the Very Vanilla background has a gorgeous shimmer. It is one sided, and is thicker than the double sided DSP. This will work really well with 3D projects. If you place an order with me and purchase the POM stamp set, I will send you a tutorial featuring projects using this stamp set. This is in addition to my usual thank you tutorial bundle.

The butterfly and leaves are from the Butterfly Flight bundle. I didn’t use the hot foil dies this time – I used the cutting dies and the masks. I have also added some sneak peeks from the new September – December catalogue. The embossing folder is called Softly Woven and the centre square is from a new set of dies called Tile Garden dies. These are amazing! The are the same as the Spotlight On Nature dies, but square.

Share It Sunday – Framed Violets

Thank you for joining us for our Share It Sunday blog hop (of course in Australia this goes live at 1:00am Monday morning, but it is a great start to the working week when we wake up!) There is no theme for this hop, it is for each of us to choose what project we want to share.

I have been doing assembly videos of the projects in the Avid Crafting Collective Framed Violets Tutorial Bundle. I am going to share the videos of the three cards that I designed for the bundle.

My first card is one that uses lots of little bits with vellum leaves.

Product Of The Month Blog Hop – Wild Bunch

It was really easy to stamp the party hat onto his head, and gave him the added festive cheer. If you are wondering about the embossing behind him, this is a sneak peek of a new embossing folder – Swirls Of Magic which will be available from 1st July. The presents were fussy cut and stuck around him. The DSP started out as a 7.0 cm (2 3/4″) square that I cut in half on the diagonal.

Touches Of Ink Blog Hop – Sunset Coast

I’m super excited to have been invited to join the Touches of Ink Blog Hop. This is a fun hop – it focuses on suites and/or bundles. We don’t discuss what we are going to be using for the hop which means that everyone will use something different, or we might all decide that we want to use the same products!

I am using the Scenic Coast bundle with the Scenic Coast DSP. They are from the same suite, but there are a few other items in the suite that I’m not using on this card.

This is a gorgeous bundle for masculine cards and of course we all want to play with our new toys! I wouldn’t be surprised if this bundle comes up again in the hop. This is my card:

Let’s Craft Together – Delicate Whispers

Thank you for joining us for the Let’s Craft Together blog hop. We are a group of multi-cultural Stampin’ Up!® demonstrators in Australia who have developed a strong friendship though our love of stamping and our admiration of each other’s style of crafting. Each month one of us sets a challenge that we use for the blog hop. This month’s challenge was set by Sharni Green.

The challenge is to use a background technique to make your card interesting. I decided to use torn Designer Series Paper.

Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop – Artisan Sketched Garden

Paper Crafting Blog Hop – April 2025

Welcome to our Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring talented Independent Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe including the USA and Australia are participating. We have a wide array of fun projects and design styles to share with you! This month’s theme is “DSP Showcase”.

I think that we are all guilty of hoarding our beautiful DSP instead of using it and sending it out into the world to spread joy. For today’s card I used the DSP from one paper pack. You could easily use the technique to get rid of some scraps from multiple packs. As long as the papers coordinate, your card will be lovely!

The sentiments are a sneak peek from a stamp set that will be launched in the new catalogue on the 5th May called Words & Wishes.

Card Swap Chain Blog Hop – Delicate Whispers

We have recently finished another round of the “Card Swap Chain”. It is a card version of what is called “Chinese Whispers” in Australia (we called it “Broken Telephone” in South Africa). Each of us designed a card (round 1) and sent it off to one of the other participants. That person CASE-d (Copy And Share Everything / Copy And Selectively Edit) the card and send their version on to the next person. The card made its way around until finally a version came home to the maker. We are now doing a series of blog hops for each of the card designs to share the fun and amazement at the evolution.

My card is quite far down this chain – round 8. The first card in this chain was created by Ros Davidson. I usually put the link to her post here, but I am going to be away when this goes live, so I am writing it well in advance and don’t have the link at the moment. Have a look at the link list below and you will find it. I suggest starting at Ros’ post and then hopping through so that you can see how the card progressed.

Closed this card looks like it has three panels of DSP, but when you open it, there are two on the front and one inside.

I have been using the Delicate Whispers bundle and the Delicate Dreams DSP. I LOVE this suite. You will see over the course of these blog hops that I use these products often. I am doing a Stamp Camp with Julia Quinn and Jan Clothier and these are the products that we are using. These is time to register if you would like to join us. Anyone (from beginner to demonstrator) from anywhere in the world is welcome to join us. You can find all the information about the Stamp Camp here.

Sometimes the cards change so much that if you only saw the first and the last card, you wouldn’t think that they are on the same chain. Follow the chain through you will see how the changes happened.

Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop – Delicate Whispers

Welcome to another Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop. You may be starting at my blog or landed here from another one.
Each month there is a new Inspirational challenge. This month is a sketch challenge.

I have used new products, so there are lots of sneak peeks in this project. The products are all from the new Online Exclusive release that will be available from the 3rd March. The bundle is called Delicate Whispers. The DSP is called Delicate Dreams. A big surprise was that there is a new colour in the paper – Hydrangea Hue. I’m sure I’ll find out more about this colour at OnStage next month.
