We Fall In Colours – Graceful Evergreen Deer

Thank you for joining us for another We Fall In Colours blog hop. Each month we are given three colours and use those colours (together with neutrals) to make our cards. The colours for this month are Blackberry Bliss, Peaceful Pine and Hydrangea Hue.

The Christmas tree is from the Graceful Evergreen Deer stamp set. The deer aren’t in the stamp set. They are in the dies and can be hot foiled and then die cut. There are two different sized beautiful Christmas trees in the stamp set.

Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop – Framed Violets

Each month there is a new Inspirational challenge. This month we have an inspirational image and color challenge, you can use either part to create your project i.e:

I might have taken some poetic license with the colours – I used some Cherry Cobbler for the shading in the flowers, and as I don’t have a Garden Green Stampin’ Blend, I used Shaded Spruce instead.

I was happy that I had managed to use all the colours in this challenge.

We Fall In Colours – Framed Violets.

Thank you for joining us for another We Fall In Colours blog hop. Each month we are given three colours and use those colours (together with neutrals) to make our cards. The colours for this month are Lemon Lime Twist, Misty Moonlight and Daffodil Delight. This is not a colour combination that I would usually choose, but I was really happy with my card.

You may have noticed I have been using Framed Violets a lot lately. It is now available in the newest Online Exclusive offer. I love this blog hop because it forces me to use colour combinations that are out of my comfort zone, and for this card away from the purples of the Violet Dreams Suite.

My card is a bit of both – I have used all the colours and floral images.

I don’t often colour embossing folders, but this one was perfect for colouring.

We Fall In Colours – Relaxing Waterfront

I met the amazing Simone Kleine in Cologne and she invited me to join this blog hop. We are given three colours to use in our card. The colours for this month are Pretty Peacock, Golden Glow and Lost Lagoon. I did take some poetic license and add Early Espresso as my card base.

Most of the products in my card are sneak peeks from the new catalogue. The bundle is Relaxing Waterside (which we will be using for the Creativity Abounds Stamp Camp on the 11th July. For details about the Stamp Camp click here), I hope that you can see the texture in the background paper. This is Luxe White Specialty Paper and I have blended Lost Lagoon ink onto it.

One of my favourite bundles in the new mini catalogue is Sweet Bugs. That jumped into my hand and although I wasn’t sure about Fresh Freesia and Pretty In Pink mushrooms, I love the finished card!

I have a friend who has just had a baby (as in last night). I knew I would need a baby card, so I decided to make one using this challenge. I only used 3 of the colours – Cajun Craze, Lemon Lolly and Calypso Coral.

The main products are the Notes & Toes dies and the Cutest Onesie bundle. There are also a couple of sneak peeks of the new Online Exclusives available from the beginning of November. The texture on the bag was done with the Swirled Designs Stamp Set and thw embossing was done using the Beautiful Pattern Embossing Folder.
